The farmer will have to carry the fox, the chicken, and the grain across on separate trips. However, if he leaves the rubah, fox and the chicken alone together, even for a moment, the rubah, fox will eat the chicken. If he leaves the chicken and the grain alone together, even for a moment, the chicken will eat the grain. How does the farmer get all three across the river without anything getting eaten?
