Jailbreak atau no jailbreak? :/

I really want to jailbreak my ipod touch which will give me access to apps that apel, apple hasn't berkata ok to,full costomization options,and be able to install unsigned pirated software.

but...
the downside is that it isnt completely ok..
apel, apple doesn't let us do things like this for a reason.
once anda jailbreak your device its open to malware and viruses,it can become a bricked device (where anda are forever unable to use it)i could loose my warranty,and new update won't get to me very quickly...

I just want to know..do anda think it's worth it?
