Thinking about Atheism...

I'm trying to decide whether to 'convert' to Atheism. It feels lebih like my beliefs, but I'm not sure for two reasons:

1. Atheism would mean I had made a definate choice about God, and I'm not sure whether I want to atau not.

2. It sounds silly, but Atheism has so many negative connotations, such as 'immoral'.

So, in short, could someone please tell me lebih about Atheism and your own individual thoughts so I can make a choice?

It makes scientific sense, and if anda read buku like "The Case for a Creator" oleh Lee Strobel, anda will see that smart people believe in God (no offense to those who don't, as I'm sure anda can be smart without believing).

anda are a child of God and He loves anda so much. If anda turn your back on Him, you're losing everything. But if anda remain faithful to him, you're gaining everything.

Well, I don't think Einstein believed in a God. I'd like to see a real sumber because I find it hard to believe.

Yeah, and I KNOW my life is complete. If I gte pregnant, I'll get abortion, And I use condoms, I'm not an idiot. End up ruining my life? Well, I can also be hit oleh a car when I go out later tonight, but I'm not worried. I live one hari at a time, and I don't need a 2000 tahun old book to tell me how I'm supposed to life my life.

I think atheism is fine, if anda really don't believe in God, but I'll stick to Agnosticism. From what you've said, I think anda should do so too.

Generally about the subject, I do believe in God cause when I try not to I just... can't beruang the thought. I'm baptised Christian Orthodox but that's just because of the family tradition; I don't really care what christians think, I just like what Yesus berkata about cinta towards everyone! As far as it concerns God I believe in what a greek writer, Kazantakis, berkata in one of his buku (translation oleh me, kinda lousy); "Each race and each era gives God its own mask; but behind all the masks, there is, in all eras and in all races, the same always God.
We have the menyeberang, salib as a sacred sign, the older ancestors had the labrys; but behind the menyeberang, salib and the labrys I perceive and I worship, setting aside the ephemeral symbols, the true God." And all in all I think that the best we should do is not care too much about god, religion and pertanyaan we could never answer, but just enjoy life!=)

No problem!=) As I already quoted Kazantzakis, if you're interested anda can read his buku "Zorbas". (linkThat's what my mother suggested me to ready when she saw that I was too confused oleh religious things! After that, I got that there are lebih important things in life like..living!=)
