In Bio, we learned that birds have AMAZING eyesight (a bird can see a baseball 3 football fields away!), and then PoM came into my mind-especially when the penguins look through binoculars.

I wondered why they needed them at 1st, but I just dropped it because, well, it's a cartoon. The writers don't have to get every single thing right about penguins.
