"Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be an actress. I always dreamed of the hari when my name would be in lights, and I would be starring in big films. In school, I participated in every school play, except for the time I had the flu, but that's another story. My father always supported me, and he regularly encouraged me to pursue acting. He would even playfully ask for my autograph. My mother never encouraged me to pursue acting. She wants me to go to college, even though going to college doesn't guarantee I'll get a job. Unfortunately, my father was taken suddenly when we went out to makan malam and we were in a car accident. My mother and I weren't hurt, but my father was unresponsive. oleh the time the medics arrived, it was too late. Anyway, since then, my mother has hovered over me all the time. We had a fight before I left home, and before I ran away, trying to get to Hollywood, I told her that I wished my father was here instead of her." Everett listened sympathetically to Una's story. He said, "I'm so sorry to hear about everything you've been through." He trailed off. Una said, "I feel like there's a but coming." He said, "Yes, and that's the fact that I feel like anda went about this the wrong way. I think your mother is trying to protect you, because she doesn't want to lose anda too." Una said, "Gee, I never thought of it like that. My mother did try to contact me. She left me a message." Everett said, "Maybe anda should listen to it. Just hear her out." As Una listened to her mother's message, some tears fell from her eyes. She said, "Oh, my gosh. anda think I hurt my mother's feelings? I guess I did, didn't I? I need to get back to her." Everett smiled and said, "I'll be happy to help anda get home." Una called her mother. Her mother answered and said, "Una! I've been worried sick about you! Where are you? Are anda okay?" Una said, "I tried to get to Hollywood. I'm not sure where I am exactly. The only thing I know is the bus broke down, and I tried to walk to Hollywood. I ended up at a kantin, diner instead. I got something to eat, and I met a nice guy who works here. His name is Everett. He told me he's going to help me get home." Her mother said, "I'm glad you're okay, Una. I'm also glad to know you're coming home." She said, "Yes, I am. I'm sorry about last night." Her mother said, "It was my fault. I deserved that remark." Una said, "It's not your fault, Mother. I now understand that you're only trying to protect me." Her mother said, "Well, anda come home, and we'll talk some more. I'll be waiting for you." Una said, "Okay, Mother. I'll see anda tonight." With that, Everett took Una to his car, and they began their journey to Una's hometown.
