I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Hayley Williams Discusses Future of paramore
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Having released their self-titled fourth album three years ago, and their debut album,
, ten years ago, Hayley Williams of Paramore checked in with fans via the band’s blog to discuss the future of Paramore and her own personal projects. Following some tumultuous events, which saw founding members Josh and Zac Farro leave the band and release a scathing statement about their time in Paramore, Williams, Taylor York, and Jeremy Davis released the self-titled album with critical and commercial success.
Williams describes her sadness of having to let go of the album, saying “it’s really true that this is our favorite album yet. It’s true we became the band we always hoped we would be.” Despite the positive feelings the band has towards the album, Williams describes the future of Paramore as uncertain, “I have no idea what is next for Paramore but I can’t wait to find out.”
Although the future of the band does remain uncertain, Williams has been working on some of her own non-musical side projects and business ventures. Williams has been known by fans as always sporting bright and daring hair colors, and so the singer has been working on her own hair dye line. Williams has started the business from the ground up, and wishes to share what she has learnt, so everyone can take the “art of self-expression into their own hands.”
Another project the singer has been working on is becoming the host of an internet show called
. The show is about beauty looks, make-up, and personal inspiration, and is part of the new Popular online community, which was founded by Marvin Scott Jarrett, the co-founder of
. Williams says the show is “not about how to get pretty,” but rather, encouraging viewers to get to know themselves through their inspirations and letting that serve as their definition of beauty or self-expression.
Paramore still have some spring tour dates for April and May across the States in support of their self-titled album.
will be an intimate evening of music for fans to finish the self-titled era of music. The tour also sees the band bring along the newly reformed Copeland as supports. The intimate evenings of music may prove to be something fans will not want to miss considering Williams’ statement, and the uncertainty of when the band will release new music.
