Leyton fans would clearly hate it, for obvious reasons. and I would think a lot of Brucas fans would be unhappy with it, because while Brucas would be together, everyone would know that Lucas officially settled for her, and that the only reason they would be together is because Peyton died. if I were a Brucas fan, sure I would want Brooke and Lucas together, but I would want Lucas to CHOOSE to be with Brooke over Peyton, as opposed to being with her just because he CANT have Peyton anymore. But honestly, i wouldn't have ever been satisfied with them reconciling if it weren't solely because LP came to realize they were not meant to be together and maturely ended things.
