I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Song review: One Direction's new single 'Perfect'
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
12 times that 5SOS on Celebrity Juice just got...
Zayn Malik just picked his new band and there\'s...
Put down your Cheerios, do a shimmy in your pyjamas and try not to dance too enthusiastically while brushing your teeth because that\'s a choking hazard, but OH CHRIST, the new One Direction single \'Perfect\' has just had its first radio play and we\'re loving life.
After dropping minxy little teasers all through the week, along with a sneaky lyrics leak that kicked off a load of rumours, fans have been despo to get the real deal pumped into their earholes, and today is finally that day.
But what did we make of it? Is it an absolute banger or a sway-with-lighter-in-air slowy? What are the good bits? What are the bad bits? Err, none OBVS. But let\'s attempt to talk some sense about it now rather than just howling in your face about how it\'s the best thing to ever happen to us.
It sounds like the feeling you get when you aced that work you\'ve been working really hard on. It sounds like all the sass in the world combined with a glitter cannon and some kind of laser light display. It sounds like the feeling when a cat chooses to come and give YOU a cuddle over anyone else. It sounds \'Perfect\', actually.
Harry Styles still isn\'t telling us who \'Perfect\'...
Niall Horan\'s got some great plans for his first...
In slightly more technical terms, it\'s not really like anything that One Direction have ever released before because honestly what would be the point in that. It\'s definitely following \'Drag Me Down\' along the lines of being a much more mature sound, but the lyrics stop it taking itself too seriously.
It\'s like a really arousing, much cheekier version of the classic love song - and err, we weren\'t gonna say it. But does anyone else think it sounds a teeny tiiiny bit like Taylor Swift\'s \'Style\'? NO JUST US OKAY THEN, forget we mentioned it.
"If you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms and if you like having secret little rendezvous, if you like doing things you know that we shouldn\'t do, baby I\'m perfect."
WE LIKE ALL OF THESE THINGS HARRY. Very much. Oh, and also that part about breakup songs and the bit about driving with the windows down because yaaaaaaaaaas tehehehehe.
Every day for the rest of our lives, if poss. We\'ll be starting this quest today by driving everyone else in the office slightly mental by playing it on repeat until we get shouted at. For anyone a bit less keen, stick this one on when you\'re in the mood for some sexy shoulder dancing while you\'re cooking eggs, or if you\'re just sick of the typical love song and want to listen to Harry Styles inviting you to a hotel room.
Number one every single week for the rest of our lives, or at least until they bring out the third track from
. It completely deserves to land itself at the top of the charts and win various awards for being the biggest selling song of all time, but we\'d also settle for a couple of weeks somewhere in the top three. You can bet your mum that it\'ll be #1 on the iTunes charts for a while at least, so it\'s all good.
All in all, it\'s genuinely what it says on the tin and really quite \'Perfect\', so GO AND HAVE A LISTEN.
Right can we all head over to Twitter to discuss this now please? Get yourself in a flap over@sugarscape and we\'ll join ya, cheers and ta very much.
