Was Cruella really the first non-tragic villain?

Everyone keeps saying how Cruella was the first 100% bad, evil, sociopath but I always thought there were a few others before her. For instance, Peter Pan. I never once felt sorry for him. He was a selfish, childish man who gave up his son so he could be a child again. Sure there might have been a small hint of remorse when he transforms into a teenager but all in all, I never thought of him as a sympathetic villain. Also Tamara. She was a straight on murderer. Sure we never learned lebih on her backstory so maybe she had lebih of a reason but all in all from what they've shown, I never once felt sorry for her. Felt quite ecstatic when and how she died. Sure she felt bad for her actions but still it's not as though she ever hesitated when committing those actions. Also there's the blind witch from True North. From what we've seen, she's a straight-on cannibal. Don't really see them doing a backstory on her unless she somehow survived the oven. I wanna include King George cause I hate him with every ounce of my being but they did mention him losing his wife and losing his son. Course his son was just as bad as he is and who knows? His wife could've been just as bad atau worse. *GASP!* What if his wife was Cora who only made him think his wife was dead?! That would make David and Regina half-siblings! Speaking of George's son, there's another one. James. He was a downright, non-sympathetic villain who lied to an innocent giant to get his family's gold. Same with his "girlfriend" Jack. She was just as bad as he was. So to me, Cruella wasn't the first villain who didn't have a soft side.

Cruella was the first sociopath, who had no reason to be a villain except for her mental condition. Other villains on the tampil were evil to get their happy ending-- Cruella's happy ending was being evil and killing people. Pan, while he was certainly not a very sympathetic character, did have his reasons for being evil-- eternal youth and power being his main driving forces. Tamara was ignorant of the cause she was really working for, and she was only trying to fight for a cause that she believed in, even though she was unknowingly working against that very cause. The witch we really don't know enough about to make a judgement one way atau the other on, but if she was a sociopath, it was never confirmed in canon which would still make Cruella the first confirmed canon sociopath. George was cruel, yes, but same with the witch, he wasn't diberikan much of a backstory so we can't be sure. Also, he looked like he did have a reason for pretty much everything he did, regardless of whether atau not it was a valid one. And to me, Jack and James were not even villains, they were just arrogant assholes.

So in regards to your question, was Cruella the first non-tragic villain, it depends on your point of view (some people do consider characters like Pan to be tragic), but most likely no, she is not.

But I don't think that's what most people mean when they call her the first 100% evil villain on the show. She was the first sociopath in the show, yes, and the first one to do evil things without a motivation, but whether atau not she's the first non-sympathic villain is a matter of opinion.

Pan isn't tragic atau sympathetic AT ALL! He's the exact opposite!

I think Pan and Cruella are somewhat the same. They're both sociopaths. Although I feel sorry for the fact that Cruella was locked in an attic her whole life. It wouldn't have improved her mental illness, which she probably at that age, didn't even know she had. We haven't gone right back to Pan being a child...so I'd say Pan is somewhat worse.
