I was recently diberikan a link to check out the newest album oleh James Morrison titled “The Awakening”. All I can say is it's incredible! I liked it so much I did something I almost never do and bought it right away. I've been listening to it my downtime between shuttling the kids to school and practices. His voice is soothing, relaxing and perfect departure from the kids cartoon-y pop music.

While James is a new artist to me, I've found that he has a couple sebelumnya albums that are also top-notch. He worked with artist such as Nelly Furtado and Jason Mraz on the sebelumnya albums, “Undiscovered” and “Song's For You, Truths For Me” and sold 4.5 million copies. “The Awakening” is a warm, live-sounding collection of classic but contemporary folk-soul songs. There are nods to Motown, gospel, country and a hint of Latin. Morrison also drew on his own experience of fatherhood. His newest singles “I Won’t Let anda Go” and “One Life” are just brilliant.
