Is it possible for shadowhunters to turn into vampires?

(A little bit of spoilers?)

Just thinking about the Malec situation, anda know... with the 'Magnus-is-immortal-and-Alec-is-not'.

There's a couple of points I've thought about:

For:
- It's possible with manusia serigala (Luke is one)
- In Clockwork Angel, Will has to drink holy water to avoid turning into a darkling

Against:
- Camille says that there's no way for him to become immortal
- It will probably be completely looked down on if he did, anyway.

Shadow hunters are still "mortal" persay, just with the blood of the malaikat in them. Luke became a were, so I would assume that shadow hunters would be able to become vampires. Maybe not though, lol only Cassandra Clare can answer that 100%

Ok, thanks. Yeah, I found out that it was possible (mentions in the buku a few times) but I read that Alec had rejected the idea of him becoming a vampire, so...
