The books! Tolkien was not only a great author, but also a linguistics specialist. I remember membaca in his biography that he spent hours and hours rereading what he had written and correcting what he felt didn't match with the rest of the text. And I think this shows in the books: it truly feels like if every single word fitted in with the sebelumnya and the following ones. As a result, the texts are really fluids and easy to read.
The buku stand alone as works of literary art and yet the films enjoy the same distinction on a cinematic level but since this must be decided I will say the films because it enabled a great deal lebih people to come share the vision of Middle Earth than previously known.
There are very few films that have surpassed their book sumber this is usually because the book is not all that good *The Secret of Moonacre/The Little White Horse* atau the movie is so mind-blowingly awesome that the book can't compete *stardust*. In The Lord of the Rings case I think they stand on even ground. Both are masterpieces in their own field and are equally good.
I'v only seen the movies, (i'v seen them a lot of times) and the film are REALLYYYY AWESOME! Peter Jackson does an amzing job. i can't wait to see his work with, "The Hobbot". But i havn't read the buku yet, im membaca the hobbit first. and its an amazing book.So i think they are both the same. I cinta the film though
The buku hold a lot of information and they left stuff out but they did an amazing job! they left things out that were okay to leave out. They are both amazing! and The lord of the Rings are the only film oleh Peter Jackson that i like. I hope the Hobbit is as good.
