Chapter 1:

Laura Lannister was pacing around in the apartment she shared with her sister, Rachel. It was that time of the week. The time when they took the car they shared, drove through the crowded streets of london right into the Lannister mansion where their father, Tywin Lannister, lived.

"Yes, and as I understand, that'd be an internship, too. So I'd be ciuman the asses of your little bitches at work and not even get paid for it."
"Yes, and as I understand, that'd be an internship, too. So I'd be ciuman the asses of your little bitches at work and not even get paid for it."

"Stop being so bloody nervous", Rachel berkata in frustration. "I'm sure Father won't mind you-"
"Of course he'll mind", Laura interrupted angrily. "Him learning I took an internship at a record label will probably make that vein on his forehead pop once and for all! Do anda remember when Cersei told him that she was not going to marry again?"
Rachel remembered very well. A few months ago, about a tahun after Cersei's husband Robert's death - he drank himself to death - Tywin had questioned, in his own polite way, when Cersei was going to marry him, and she berkata never, and an awkward silence had filled the makan malam table.
"He won't mind", Rachel repeated again, but all the certainty was gone from her voice.
Whereas Laura knew exactly what she wanted, to be a musik producer and find great new artists, Rachel had no bloody clue what to do. She only wanted to be a writer, but when Tywin Lannister had heard that..
"Lannisters don't act like fools", he said.

"Lannisters don't act like fools", he said.
"Lannisters don't act like fools", he said.

He'd asked her how many published buku she had so far. The conversation had ended there.
"Wear the black one", Rachel instructed her sister. Black looked good on Laura.
In truth, everything looked good on Laura. She had a slim face, freckles on her pale cheeks, deep, brown eyes and long, blonde-ish hair. She was a true Lannister.
Rachel, on the other hand - even though she had similar eyebrows as her older sister, Cersei - did not have the blonde hair. She had, until a few years yang lalu a maddening rebellion went over her and she'd dyed her pale blonde hair into one of brown. It suited her fine as well, but Tywin had misliked it. But at least Rachel had the same eyes as most of the family members did. Grey.

 "You like beating kids, Stark?"
"You like beating kids, Stark?"

After about an jam of preparing, Laura and Rachel were on their way to the Lannister mansion. Rachel was driving, for Laura seemed too nervous.
"You shouldn't be like that, he'll notice right away", she said. "You could do as Jaime berkata and keep it hidden."
"And tell him I've done nothing with my life?" Laura snapped.
"What, like me?" Rachel asked, absent-minded.
Laura berkata nothing, just turned to look out of the window.

It took over an jam to reach the Lannister mansion, and once they were there, dusk was already setting over the city.
"Tyrion's late, as always", Rachel noted as they saw one of the cars missing. Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion all had seperate cars and seperate homes. Seperate lives. Though Cersei always brought her children with her to dinner. Sweet Myrcella, quiet Tommen and horrid Joffrey.
Joffrey was 17, in high school and a complete brat. At one point he'd actually gone rebel and dated the beautiful 17 tahun old Sansa Stark. At that Tywin had gone lebih furious than ever, Cersei along with her. Tyrion had merely found it amusing and Jaime had paid no mind.
In truth, Laura and Rachel thought the same as Jaime did. The Starks were naught to them, but Tywin seemed to consider them a great threat.

There were 5 great lawfirms in London. The most expensive with the most qualified laweyrs. The lawfirms were named after the families, aka Lannister, Stark, Baratheon, Tully and Tyrell. The Targaryens had been a firm, too, once upon a time, but no one really recalled what had happened to them.
The Lannister and the Tyrell's had an understanding, but the others Tywin Lannister loathed. Stark above all. No one really knew why, atau dared to ask. Perhaps because they were twice as good as the Lannisters were. That was at least what Rachel had heard, but never spoke of it. At Tywin Lannister's house no family existed but Lannister.
The Lannister Mansion was traditionally named Casterly Rock. No one really knew the details of that, either, but apparently before it had been called the Castamere hold, but Tywin had bought - atau taken - the hold from old Mr. Rain, so now the place was renamed, and reowned.

When Laura and Rachel joined Tywin, Cersei, Jaime, Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen at the makan malam table, the lighting was dim, as it always was.
"Where is your brother?" Tywin asked, not taking his eyes from some document he was reading.
"Running late, I'm sure", Laura said. atau perhaps not tampilkan up at all. That sounded like Tyrion. Tywin had always resented him.
See, whereas the rest of the Lannisters were tall and beautiful, Tyrion was, well, a dwarf. He had the family hair, and even some of the other looks, but Tywin had never forgiven him.
"No, I'm not", they heard the familiar voice from the doorway and they all turned to look at Tyrion as he strotted to his own kursi selanjutnya to Laura, ignoring the glare their father was giving him.

"You truly think that it was the girl's fault, what happened?"
"You truly think that it was the girl's fault, what happened?"

"Father", Cersei said, giving their father a smile. "Did anda hear that Joffrey here has taken interest in the lovely Margaery Tyrell?" Rachel could hear bitterness in her voice. Cersei misliked the Tyrell's.

"Did anda hear that Joffrey here has taken interest in the lovely Margaery Tyrell?"
"Did anda hear that Joffrey here has taken interest in the lovely Margaery Tyrell?"

"I heard, from Olenna herself", Tywin said. "You make sure anda choose this girl lebih wisely than the last one." Of course he had to bring up Sansa Stark.
Joffrey berkata nothing, just turned to his food, a glum look on his face. Perhaps he'd ran out of anjing to kick.
"Father", Tyrion gave him an amused smile. "You truly think that it was the girl's fault, what happened?"
There was an awkward silence. In truth Joffrey had beat Sansa bloody until her brothers Jon and Robb had found out and beat Joffrey bloody instead. It had not turned out pretty.
Jaime cleared his throat. "Wow, this is some good food, what is it?"

"Wow, this is some good food, what is it?"
"Wow, this is some good food, what is it?"

"It's the salad, Jaime, the food will be served later", Tywin berkata coldly, turning to look at Rachel and Laura. "You two are awfully quiet."
Rachel decided to help her sister a little, so she smiled. "I met this guy last week, he's lovely, his name is-"
"I got an internship", Laura interrupted, her eyes on Tywin. "At this.. record label."
"And do anda get paid for this internship?" Tywin asked, speaking as if the words tasted like shit in his mouth.
"No", Laura berkata bluntly. "That's why it's called an internship."
Jaime chocked back a laughter at this moment, but other than that the meja was quiet.
"Laura, I thought we discussed this", Tywin berkata in a cool, cold voice. "You are to come working for the Lannister group selanjutnya month."
"Yes, and as I understand, that'd be an internship, too. So I'd be ciuman the asses of your little bitches at work and not even get paid for it", Laura shook her shoulders. "Imagine why I'd decline."
At this Rachel actually laughed a little, then she quit right away when she saw their father's look.
"I think it's time for us to go", Laura said, standing up. "Rachel."
Rachel shot up as well, giving a wave to the rest of their family before they walked out.
"I think that was awesome", Rachel berkata as they walked back to the car.
"I think he'll have my head for talking back to him", Laura berkata as she stepped into the car.
"No, just your fingers atau your tongue atau something. He'd never kill a Lannister", Rachel tried to joke, but Laura wasn't amused, so they drove the rest of the way back to the city in silence.

The selanjutnya morning, it being Saturday, Rachel woke up to the sound of the alarm clock in confusion.
"What the...?"
Laura dragged her up oleh her arm. She was surprisingly strong for a small girl. "We promised to take Myrcella and Tommen to their drama class."
Rachel groaned. "No. Where the hell is Cersei, anyway? They're her kids."
"Out meeting some new client for the firm. Come on. anda remember this. You're the one who offered. Let's go", Laura berkata sharply, and Rachel could tell she was still angry about the sebelumnya night.

They were walking Myrcella and Tommen to a huge building that was made for multipurposes. It was a mall, a gym, an office building and a place where there was a stage and everything needed for kids to have their drama lessons. Myrcella was very much interested in being an actress, and Tommen only went along because Cersei needed him to be somewhere on Saturdays. He wasn't that talented in acting.
"Laura", Tommen berkata as they spoke.
Laura looked down at the little boy. "Yeah?"
"Jeyne Poole at school says that I'm a bastard. What does that mean?"
Laura and Rachel exchanged looks. This had been going around since one of Cersei's dead husband's brothers had started a rumor that none of the children was truly a child of Robert. It was a fair claim. All the children had blonde hair, whereas Robert had had pitch black hair. And now it was nothing lebih than a shameful rumor, but Myrcella and Tommen still got picked on because of it. Not Joffrey, though. No one dared to insult Joffrey.
"It means that she's jealous because you're so awesome", Laura gave the boy a small smile. He had none of his brother's cruelty, atau his grandfather's coldness.

After saying goodbye to Myrcella and Tommen they stayed to watch the akting practice for a moment, as they always did.
Rachel was drinking a coffee she'd picked up on their way from Starbucks, but Laura hadn't gotten anything to eat atau drink and now she was hungry. Suddenly the doors to the theatre opened and they heard a child shouting:
"I don't want to act! That's SANSA! Let me go! I want to go halaman awal and have sword lessons with Syrio, dad PROMISED! ROBB!"
Rachel recognized the loud voice anywhere. That could only be Arya Stark, the youngest daughter of the Stark family. She and her sister Sansa also attended the drama lessons, sometimes even their brothers Rickon and Bran, too, but that was less likely since Bran was a cripple and couldn't really get any parts in the plays.
"Great, the Starks are here..", Laura muttered, and Rachel could only nod.
They watched as the two eldest brothers, Jon and Robb, dragged Arya and escorted Sansa - she was already 17 but still wanted to be in the plays of the younger children - to the stage.
Rachel noted that Robb had not changed at all from last she'd seen him. Which had been a few weeks ago, the very same day. He and Jon always brought the kids by.
Robb was a handsome 22-year old guy with curly, brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. As appearances went, Rachel liked everything about him. But from Joffrey he'd heard the guy was in truth a total asshole. But then again, everyone was an asshole in Joffrey's opinion.
Laura, on the other hand, noticed the other brother. Jon, with his grey eyes, messy, black hair and a constant look of angst on his face. He was also 22.
Jon and Robb were only half-brothers. Whereas Robb and the rest of the Stark children were the children of Ned and Catelyn Stark, Jon was the result of a one night stand Ned Stark had had with some woman 22 years ago. The woman had diberikan the baby to Ned, saying she could not raise him, and in that, Ned Stark, with all his honor, had taken the baby in and raised him like all the rest of his children. Except for one thing. Jon had kept the last name of his mother. Snow.

"It'd just be best if your pantat, keledai of a nephew would keep his hands away from Sansa, in all purposes."
"It'd just be best if your pantat, keledai of a nephew would keep his hands away from Sansa, in all purposes."

Even he didn't know the first name, and for some reason Laura thought this made him all the lebih intriguing.
Robb and Jon took their seats a bit further from the girls, staying to watch as well. When the first break came for the kids to go get some air atau eat their snacks, all the four adults rose, ready to leave at the same time.
There was an awkward silence while the boys let Rachel and Laura pass before them. Once they were all safely out of the theatre, Rachel suddenly felt an urge to defend her family.
"You like beating kids, Stark?" she directed her words at Robb, for some reason. He and Jon had already been walking before them, and Robb turned around in surprise as she spoke.
"You're serious?" he asked in disbelief. They both knew they were talking about the incident with Sansa, Joffrey and the boys.
"No, I'm fucking joking. Yes, I'm serious. What honor is there in beating a 17-year old?"
"I could ask your nephew the same question", Robb snapped, and Rachel knew he was right. Gladly she didn't have time to say anything to this before Jon spoke: "It'd just be best if your pantat, keledai of a nephew would keep his hands away from Sansa, in all purposes."
"He doesn't need your bloody sister", Laura said, butting in. "He's got Margaery Tyrell to keep him company now."
"The Tyrell girl?" Robb gave the girls an amused look. "God help her."

"The Tyrell girl? God help her."
"The Tyrell girl? God help her."

At this Rachel moved forwards, slamming her first against Robb's beautiful face. It probably didn't hurt him as much as she intended, but it certainly shocked him.
"By what rights do anda Starks judge us?" she snapped. "You've always judged us, your bloody father thinks he's the-"
"Hey!" Jon suddenly shouted. Both of the girls turned to look at him. "Leave our father out of this."
Laura rolled her eyes, giving Jon an angry glare. "Rachel, let's go. They'll both stay away from each other. Is that good for your honorable family, then?" she spat at the boys before dragging Rachel out of the building.
As they were outside, Laura gave Rachel a knowing look.
"What?" Rachel snapped.
"You think there weren't any better ways to get his attention?"
"Whose? Stark's?" Rachel chuckled. "You underestimate my taste in men."
"No, I don't", Laura said, happy that Jon didn't become their selanjutnya subject as it was this time Rachel who walked away from sight angrily.
