NBC's "Knight Rider" remake has cast its female lead -- and is working at getting the original Knight to make an appearance as well.

Deanna Russo ("The Young and the Restless") will bintang opposite fellow soap actor Justin Bruening ("All My Children") in the two-hour movie/back-door pilot that update the 1980s NBC show. Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, original "Knight Rider" bintang David Hasselhoff is in talks to reprise his role as Michael Knight.
