I agree with you Kewpie: I like them both also! But so perfect in season one; and it seemed to match her personality and her career. :)

I liked the shoulder length like at the end of s2. It was still quasi-practical, but "softer". But really nothing about Beckett as a dect. is realistic. My dad was a cop for 25+ years and I jokingly asked, "did your female detectives wear heals?" and his response was, "we didn't have any detectives that looked like her." s3 hair is gorgeous, but chases kind of look like a suave commercial. I'm not sure if they are trying to make her look more "professional", but I think the cute leather jackets need to make a comeback in the clothes.

It gets better ever season but the end of season three is the best so far.
