Yes and no. There was one scene that I didn't like - where Jacob is in the dapur with Bella and they're about to ciuman but the phone rings. The scene made Jacob seem too spiteful to me - like he purposely didn't give Bella the phone when Edward called. In the book, Edward calls as Carlisle and then hangs up on Jake before he can even respond. I'm just hoping that we get to see lebih of Jacob's true personality and not someone who needs to just "fill in"

I tottally agree with anda about that scene and in the book, they weren't so close to kissing. In fact, Bella didn't want him to ciuman her at all.

And yes, Jacob's true personality is never shown in the film. He doesn't seem like Bella's best friend. He seems like he's trying to seduce her.
