He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a 2002 reboot of the 1983 series of the same name. A lot of reboots have infamous reputations for lacking the appeal of the originals. However, this He-Man reboot managed to be a hit with the fan due to it respecting the original series while also having a lot of different elements that helped it stand out.

In the show, Cam Clarke voiced He-Man. He is best known for voicing Leonardo in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series.

Unlike in the original series, Battle Cat didn't speak.

I'm a big fan of the Masters of the Universe franchise, including both He-Man and She-Ra, so it's my pleasure to share some fun facts about the franchise. For this article, I'll be focusing on the original He-Man series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and the original She-Ra series, She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Originally, a majority of the male characters in He-Man were going to have names that ended with the word Man. This ended up not being used for all of the male characters, but it still applied to some, such as He-Man, Beast Man and Mer-Man.

He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword is a 1985 theatrically-released film. The film features the first appearance of She-Ra. The film was later membagi, split into a five parts, in order to serve as the first five episode of the She-Ra animated series. Like He-Man, She-Ra was made to promote a toyline and like He-Man, She-Ra had a successful animated series done oleh Filmation who were also responsible for making The Secret of the Sword.

Mattel is at it again, a new line of Masters of the Universe action figures are being released.

The line is called Masters of the Universe Classics, and they are very much re-interpretations of the classic 80's line.

This line is being produced oleh the 4 Horsemen, which was the company behind the 2002 He-Man line.

The figures look very much like the original toys, with a few modern touches. The art detail is fantastic. They are articulated figures, not statues atau maquettes. The accessories look like how we wish they looked in the first place.

The figures are being released on a monthly schedule, one per month, and they are listed at $20.
