Why is Harry in this club?????

I joined this club a few days ago, and already I'm confused. I could have sworn Harry Potter is a Pure Blood, because both Lily and James Potter were magical.

Now I see that he's the icon for this place!!!! Not to mention he's part of every poll.

Can someone please tell me why people think he's a Half Blood.
