I think it might be Eric. I just don't think they would make Dan/Chuck/Nate gay because of all of the fans of Chuck/Blair/Nate and Dan/Serena.

It's said that it's going to affect both sides of the river and that it will be important for at least three characters.

Dan: Affects both sides of the river. Serena, his parents, Jenny.
Eric: Affects both sides of the river. Serena, his mother, Jenny.
Chuck: Doesn't affect both sides of the river. Blair, Nate, his father. (Would Nate actually be affected?)
Nate: Doesn't affect both sides of the river. Blair, his parents, Chuck maybe.

I think it should be between Eric and Dan. Dan was gay on the books too. But I think it'd be Eric because Dan's got the whole Serena thing...

I totally think it's going to be Dan because the only one who would actually care is Serena, because in the book, his parents and Jenny throw him a big gay party for coming out of the closet. They even wear a shirt that reads "Parents and Friends of Gays and Lesbians"

Dan:Pro: Both sides of the river. Serena, Jenny, Parents, Vanessa. Also he expierimented in the books, and thought he was gay for a long time. Also he was in the picture (may or may not be in the picture above). Also some viewers may be suprised, and some might not(He was gay in the books, so the ones who read may know?) Con: Right now he's Serena's main love interest.in

Chuck: Pro:Chuck was "bisexual" in the books too. Affects Nate, Blair, his father. the only person on the other side of the river it may possibly affect is Jenny(since the whole rape thing? Maybe? Well, it was worth a try). Chuck also may be trying to hide his sexuality with the whole over-sexualized-doing-every-girl-he-sees thing. Also The viewers who read the books may not be suprised.ALSO this twist may have been the reason the writers brought Chuck in as a major character instead of the small role he held in the book. Con: Chuck is the main sexual drive of the show, which the writers thought may have been lost by making him gay

Eric: Both sides of river. Serena, Jenny, Mom. Eric may have tried to commit suicide because of coming to terms with his sexuality.Con: Even though he shows some interest in jenny. He is also a minor character.

it's the most boring n obvious way 2 go, it won't b dan cuz it's 2 predictable since everyone know he wuz gay in the books.

eric is the safest bet... they won't risk making Nate/Chuck/dan gay cuz they don't want 2 loose rating...

i want it 2 b dan though...

as long as my 2 babies Nate n Chuck remain straight... it's ALL GOOD;)
