I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Galavant’ Season 2 Opening Number Riffs On Renewal, Emmy Snub | Deadline
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

Dan Fogelman is keeping the self-deprecating tone of his medieval musical comedy series
intact in a big-scale opening number penned by the series’ songwriting duo of Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. It’s one of 32 new songs they have written for the 10-episode second season, which kicks off on January 3.
ABC Sets Midseason Schedule & Return Dates: No 'Secrets & Lies' Or 'Uncle Buck'
, the “slightly meta” opening number, as Fogelman puts it, features the entire cast as well as returning guest star Hugh Bonneville. Poking fun of the “eventization” in television where every limited-run series like
is labeled an event, the song touts the musical comedy as “this year’s least expected big event.”
was on the bubble for renewal following so-so ratings after a solid start as the series was scheduled for a four-week run of back-to-back episodes on Sunday in January against football and big specials like the Golden Globes. Acknowledging that the renewal was a “miracle” that may not happen again, the song pleads with viewers to watch:
By the way I meant ABC when I wrote NBC. It does feel to me like one...
Skip the football matches and the globes that are made out of gold,
And get into the miracle that no one thought we’d get.
The 10-episode second season (up from eight in Season 1) of the series, which films in the UK, guest stars top West End actors and singers such as Kylie Minogue, Nick Frost, Sheridan Smith, Matt Lucas, Robert Lindsey and Simon Callow. John Stamos, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Bonneville are among those returning from the first season. The Season 2 finale, which was shot in Morocco, features a musicalized war of three armies.
As for the catchy title song, which surprisingly failed to land an Emmy nomination, the original
theme will still be featured in the music score and recap songs during the second season. But as Bonneville’s pirate character puts it bluntly in
, “It didn’t win an Emmy, so it’s time to move along.”

Excited for this to come back. Nothing else like it on TV
Third rate “When Things Were Rotten” that never should have been renewed.
Waah! A show I didn’t like got renewed, so let me ruin it for everyone else.
Can’t believe this trash is back again. 10 episodes. Just awful.
Well, it’s EVENT TV for me! This show is so off the wall it’s like watching the lovechild of Parkour and Broadway. And every moment is FABULOUS.
The slow speed joust!! Love its demented creativity, so glad it’s back!
How does ABC expect ratings to improve? Season 1 isn’t available on Netflix or DVDs. :-(
Ugh. I can’t believe I have one less hour-long, turn-key crime drama to look forward too this year. JK. Best pick up ever.
Yeah, I enjoyed season 1. I didn’t rush home to watch it, but I definitely thought it was clever. Didn’t know it got a season 2. Good to hear.
This is hilarious, very Monty Python and reminds me of The Princess Bride. Nothing like it on tv and something the whole family can watch together. Excited the show has returned. I know it’s been given an unfair time slot against football, and the Globes, but it did fare well out of the other shows put in that time slot.
This is a show you either love or hate. I LOVE it. Musical theater geeks everywhere rejoice!
I had no idea it was coming back with the disastrous ratings it got the first time around.
By the way I meant ABC when I wrote NBC. It does feel to me like one of the many flops NBC is intent on bringing back year after year…
