There is a huge difference between FMA and FMAB. ~One of the difference is story in FMAB follows komik jepang completely even though at first both the story are the same but the end is different. ~Besides that, Winry's parents is killed oleh Scar in FMAB but in FMA they are killed oleh Mustang. ~IN FMAB, there are some characters that doesn't appear in FMA like Lin Yao and others. ~In FMAB, Winry and Edward are married but not in FMA. ~In FMAB,Edward and Alphonse get their original body back. ~In FMAB, Envy died. ~FMAB has lebih episodes than FMA.

FMAB goes deeper into the story and takes some things out of the story.FMA was just a reproduction of the komik jepang so when it became really populer the penulis decided to change the story and make it lebih interesting.
One difference is the cast Aaron was Al in the original while Maxie plays Al in brotherhood. The artwork is also different, in brotherhood they're more... roundish. While the original seems more... detailed sort of.
