Why do people hate members so much?

I just don't get it.... :(
Why do non MEMS hate us so much? Like when I was hanging out with my friend on fantage, some ruby chick (non member) pops up and calls us stupid, dumb, ugly, ect(they berkata it as a slang). Like, she was very rude. Everywhere online i see "WHY I HATE MEMBERS!" video and "Members are mean!" Like what's the deal? Why are the people hate members so much. I don't see a reason! :(
