How did Jacob get hurt in the fight with Victoria's newborns??

The manusia serigala thought they had got all the newborn vampires. Leah found one and was being cocky trying to prove that she was as strong as the rest of the serigala and engaged a newborn alone. Jacob got there and knocked her out of the way but didn't have time to defend himself. The newborn wrapped his arms around Jacob and shattered most of the bones on the right side of his body.

leah was akting all cocky and didnt realize that there was a newborn behind her and jacob got in front of the newborn before it could attack leah and he ended up with a few broken ribs

jacob knocked leah out of the way from the newborn and the newborn crushed most of jacob's bones on the right side of his body.

He saw Leah trying to kill a newborn vamp no one got and Jake gets him but the newborn got his hands around him and crushes his right side

In the battle between the Cullens and Werewolfs and Victoria's new born army, the vampire and Werewolfs membagi, split the numbers to kill. At the end of the battle, the serigala didn't count how many they killed and didn't realise that they missed one. Leah, a female wolf, found the missing new born and wanted to prove herself oleh killing it herself. Jacob managed to get Leah out of the way but had no time to defend himself. The rest of the serigala killed the newborn, but not before Jacob got hurt.
