Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, M.D., M.E. is a British (Scottish)-born[citation needed] chief medical examiner, who has been long-time friends with Gibbs. He has a "second talent", as Gibbs calls it, to be able to read people, which he expands in Season 4 oleh studying to be a psychologist.
