The baby is Rory's or else doesn't exist. Moffat wouldn't do something like that.

Knowing old Moff, I don't think it'll be either. Probably some alien spawn that can look at you and boom! And then it'll be all creepy and they'll have to find a cure for the creepy baby... ok, never mind. I really don't know.

I wish Vincent was an option for this. Amy didn't even remeber Rory at that point, and Vincent was obviously interested. Just saying.

I love the amy/dr relationship, but if they slept together wouldn't the doctor have known about it? For example surely things would be more awkward between them when they met up in 2011? And Rory's been through enough i think, i hope its his :)

@revelation_23...yeah, I know this is a year later, but I just watched this episode for the first time since 2010 and something hit me bigtime. They totally TOTALLY imply that Amy did, in fact, sleep with Vincent.
1. Doctor gets drawing of Krafayis from Vincent and says he has to go to the TARDIS to find his godmother's present (the kooky device) and research things. Amy says "no you'll get attacked!" and he says "nooo of course not, I'll be fine, don't worry." Then he says something to the effect of "now you just entertain Mr Van Gogh, have a nice evening, I'll be back in a bit". And, then we get a CLOSEUP of Matt Smith--just to make sure we see the Look he gives Amy--he wiggles his eyebrows, smirks, and practically winks.
2. Obviously teasing them because he KNOWS what is going on, he does that whole little trick of jumping back into the room and scaring them. Then he leaves for real. LOL. He goes to the TARDIS, futzes around with his monster-machine, etc. Bear in mind it's NIGHT when he goes to the TARDIS.
3. Next thing we see him going out IN DAYLIGHT, THE NEXT MORNING, to head back to Vincent's with the monster-machine.. He has left Amy and Vincent alone all night. That is perfectly clear. He gets waylaid by the creature, brief chase scene, he runs into Amy who scares him in turn. When he asks her what she's doing out she says that she got tired of Vincent's snoring.

Ahem. How would she have gotten tired of his snoring if she wasn't in bed with him? I'd especially like to point out that when the Doctor goes in to wake him up in the next scene, Vincent's snoring is NOT loud enough to bug someone elsewhere in the house. In context with the other factors, my conclusion is quite positive for sexytiems in France.

Well, the Doctor DID want to cheer Amy up....

I can't believe I missed this the first time I watched the show. It's reallllly obvious. So yeah. Paternity of River? Who knows! I'll go with Vincent just because I like the idea; also, I could see crazy, charismatic, creative River being his kid. I so could see that.

The Baby is River Song and her and the Doctor are Married.
