Guidelines:

-Please don’t pick a heroine just because she’s not a princess. You can have that be a reason, please just don’t make it your only one. Disney wouldn’t just say no to a heroine being in the lineup just because she’s not a princess, there’d be other reasons
-Please do not call Esmerelda the g word. It’s a slur and just because her movie said it doesn’t mean it’s okay to use that word

Because she's a queen, and as a rule... when queens get crowned in the movie ( as happened to Kida, also) they don't get into the lineup anymore.

She has an inapropiate dress and does the pole dancing plus her movie is too dark and mature

I'm just going by popularity and movie presence here. Esmeralda was actually once part of the lineup and she adds diversity.

She's royalty but she's not a popular character outside of certain Disney fandoms on the internet. She's pretty obscure overall, especially next to the others, and her movie isn't too popular.

Agree with princesslullaby on Esmeralda. I disagree that her personality is 'not of a Princess', that's a point FOR her in my opinion as it adds uniqueness to the lineup.

^and speaking of that we got Merida who doesn't act "princessy" at all but she's in the lineup, I think it's nice seeing girls in the lineup who don't act perfect or girly or stand up for themselves

In my country there is no one who knows her or likes her. What princess is this?

She would work in a franchise for sci-fi heroines like Leia and Dejah Thoris.
