he's a troublemaker at best. He likes teasing the mice and the dog but becomes intimidated by Cindy at least. He's mean for sure but not evil. I find Iago's intentions really sadistic. He loved torturing Sultan when Jafar was in power. And he has murderous intentions whenever he speaks. He directly resulted in Jafar coming to power by stealing the lamp from Aladdin.

Same as before. A comic relief character, really.

I thought Lucifer was nasty. Cruel. I feel like Iago was going with the flow with his newfound control and he was basically just Jafar's pet.

I still take his redemption arc into account

He turns into the good guy, so clearly he's really not that evil.
