I've been to three proms in my high school career. And loved ALL of them.

I'm going next year though, hopefully.

I plan on going to prom as well, and hopefully with someone and not being forever alone.

I never went to my prom because some girl jumped me the day before prom. :( And I never went to other dances. I regret it because I enjoy dancing.

In my country high school prom/dances don't even exist lol

I agree with kiraragirl200, I do NOT know how to dance, and it would be embarrassing if I looked idiotic in front of other people. Plus, the music they play is always Teacher's Pick and it sounds old and boring. :P

Um, we have something like prom dance but only in senior year so I haven't been on prom dance. Also, once when it comes, every senior goes, it's not obligatory but it's like unacceptable if you don't show up. So yeah, I definitely plan to

We only had one here. It's different in the UK than it is in the US though, it's not really that big a deal. It's not really dancing either, you just have a good time doing whatever.

I wasn't going to go but changed my mind at the last minute and really enjoyed it.

I went to two proms, and four Homecoming dances. Had a great time at all of them, but my favorite one was my Junior Prom BY FAR. I had the prettiest dress, and I went with my "high school sweetheart". It was a very romantic evening :)

The only dance I ever went to during my school years was my eight grade dance. It was alright. Probably why I never went to another one, though. It was nothing truly memorable. The only thing I remember was the theme.

But some of my friends complained at homecoming. I personally loved just hanging out with my friends.
