Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the sebelumnya two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the selanjutnya disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

I diposting a poling two weeks ago, and the poling was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that anda may be surprised. However, I watched the two film back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.

2- Both do their evil oleh using someone else, Scar is the hyenas, and Facilier is his friends on the other side.

3- Both of them died oleh their sidekicks. Scar was killed oleh hyenas,...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain anda a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in kabin #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to kabin #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

This is my guess:
Aurora:I always thought she's tall, but she can be medium height either. I would say 1.70 m,but she can be under that too.
Pocahontas:She's very tall, almost as tall as John Smith and he was tall. She has really long legs too.I guess 180-182 m.
Cinderella: I think she's average height. She's shorter than Aurora. Anything from 165-169 m.She can look tall sometimes.
Esmeralda:She's not a disney Princess, but I read somewhere that she's the tallest of all disney Princesses.
My guess is anything from 180 to 184 m.Don't know if she and Pocahontas would be same heght.
Elsa:I read that she...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major disney Fan! My all-time favorit disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just cinta all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As anda may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the penulis of The Phantom of the Opera is oleh Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than anda Dream It scene...

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward keterangan of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, brave
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively

Okay so some of anda might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this artikel but I still didn't want the tension atau drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" daftar without offending anyone, I didn't write that artikel and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do cinta the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus atau attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her berwarna merah muda, merah muda dress. I have also read many komentar debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. berwarna merah muda, merah muda Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

As some of anda might be able to tell, I have been in a very musical mood lately. Along those themes, I wanted to make 2 musik countdowns: 1 for Songs and 1 for Scores. I cinta Disney's music, especially from the team of Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. I almost never like covers of DP songs oleh disney Pop stars so unless otherwise mentioned, all versions here are the original ones from the film. Here are my rankings for favorit songs:

Honorary Mentions:
With A Smile & A Song - Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs (So positive and uplifting plus an excellent message.) "There's no use in grumbling...

Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the disney aladdin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, melati does not represent Arab atau Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, Jasmine...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy menulis these, and since I re-watched brave a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one anda can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...
