Lynette and Gabby's hairdos, wigs?

I am re-watching s5 and cannot remember atau know why Lynette is still wearing a wig?!! it was a five yr time jump, why does she need a wig? Was Felicity doing a movie where she cut off all her hair?

And people berkata Gabby's hair was Eva wearing a wig, now that does not look wig like at all... confused. Can anyone help?
