death note Pertanyaan

Do anda think that Light does bad things with a good intention, and l does good things with a bad intention?

I think that Light had a good goal, to make the world a better place, but could've had a better way of doing it. And on the other hand, it berkata that l is bored and only solves cases that he thinks are interesting. What do anda think?

I agree about Light but he lost sight of the goal pretty quickly and seemed to only want to be deemed god like.L however i think he was actually a good person but i could be wrong. It's Death Note there are no cut and dry answers.

I kind of agree, but only to an extent. With Light, yes, he wanted to make the world a better place and he was for a while, but then he got far too drawn into the serial killer thirst for killing and went a bit insane. He probably could have made the world a better place, but he was too interested in having the private conflict with L, when he should have been worrying about what he was doing and juts trying to avoid conflict, rather than seek it out.
I disagree about L, though. I don't he was doing good things with 'bad intentions', he was simply doing his job and using his genius to solve cases where he was actually needed. He clearly wanted to solve interesting cases, because any detective can solve the minor ones, where his genius was needed to solve some important cases quickly.

for light: the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

for L: possibly, it was never revealed his true intentions, but, I like to believe he did it out of pure desire for justice.

really it depends on your perspective on the matter. which has the right sense of justice?
and what is justice to you?

I think that could partly be true. Although maybe l also decided to take on the Kira case because lots of people were dieing and he wanted to help...maybe...L is a very odd person so we can never be sure what his intentions are.
But Light did have a good intention even if he didn't have the best way of doing it.

I actually see it lebih going both ways than just one. Light was confused and had mixed motives; whereas L, overall, knew what was right, even if he could use dirty means to commit a just act. It is true that he wanted to solve cases that piqued his interest, but it is also true that it was different for the Kira case, which he knew, himself. He knew that Kira was wrong and had to be stopped, and was willing to take any measures necessary to stop him. Light's goals and motives, as I just said, were mixed and confused.
