I really liked Elena talking to Ric about Damon.
And I found it somewhat amusing that she wanted Alaric to disapprove and then he didn't... he sort of encouraged Elena in this.
I also found funny that at first the trip was "to get Jeremy back, it's not safe, blah blah blah"
And then when Alaric asks if she does have feelings for Damon she berkata that's why she's going on the trip, to figure things out.

Watched the pilot again, and noticed something odd. When Stefan comes halaman awal from the party at the falls and finds Damon there, Damon reveals he knows why S decided to return to MF: "Elena."
