I think Belle is more interesting than people give her credit for. That, and people tend to only notice the Beast growing, but Belle does too! At least, in my opinion. When she first meets the Beast, she Is frightened by his appearance, and wants nothing to do with him, though we understand why. She eventually grows to not be frightened of him, and gets to know him better and better. The Beast isn't the only one that grows in my opinion.
