Can someone tell me what was chandler job, i could never figure it out?

For most of the seasons he worked with Statistical Factoring and Data Reconfiguration, finding the rises and falls of data etc. He was an executive there too, I think. Later on he quit and got a job as a Junior Copywriter with an advertising agency.
