It's more of a top ten. Just discuss a short plot of the five movies you picked in whatever order you want. As well as the things you like about those movies

Alright. I'll write about one of my movies

#whatever the fuck: Batman: Gotham by Gaslight

Now here is the real R Rated animated Batman movie. Unlike The Killing Joke, which was a good movie but was utter shit in the first thirty minutes, Gotham by Gaslight is pretty decent all over. Taking place in an alternate timeline where Gotham is a Victorian London city, Batman must stop Jack the Ripper as he walks the streets of Gotham, killing women. With a plot like this, you would think they'd just use The Joker again, like they always do. But instead, they resort to using a character you would never expect. I won't say who, but I was pretty surprised, even if their motives stopped making sense by the end of the movie. Seeing Batman in this sort of steampunk-esque setting compared to the usual big city of Gotham is quite a nice change of pace. It manages to keep a nice pace compared to the Killing Joke, and while it probably doesn't have the massive marketing of being based on a really popular comic book, I think Gotham by Gaslight is just a little bit better, even if it just barely passes as an R rated Batman movie only because of the subject matter

Thanks bro: Now I'll wanna do the batman one..

#5: KILLING JOKE:

This one is lowest cause. Mark Hamitt alone is what makes good. Nothing else worthy about it. Didn't even take advantage of it's rating. Espcally for the mfamish beginning. Everyone has their own complaint. But biggest is that it had nothing to do with the rest of the film. It's not till Joker arrives that it's actually good.

The backstory is interesting. You almost feel bad for Joker.. But than you remember everything he ever did, and the sympathy passes.

So.. Yeah.. Mark Hamitt is the only reason to watch this movie.. And who could have guessed he was just as great at singing? Not the staff, that's for sure.

Not bad, man. I'll try to do one more, but I'll have to leave for work soon

#Who cares: Blade 1 and 2

We all know Deadpool was not the first R Rated superhero movie, but some people forget that it wasn't even the first R Rated Marvel movie. That title goes to Blade 1 and 2. I decided to put them both on here for similar reasons. And let's just forget Trinity ever happened. I enjoyed Blade 1 on a sort of ironic level. Clearly a big 90s throwback, what with black coats, sunglasses, and loud techno music because of course there was, Blade follow a half-human half-vampire hybrid cutting down vampires that threaten the human race. While I never read the comics, I enjoyed the first movie for how dumb it could get. It's cheesy, it's dumb, but it's got a charm to it. But Blade 2 on the other hand is a movie I can actually enjoy with a whole bunch of almost eldritch monsters that look so grotesque and disgusting that you wouldn't expect it in a movie like this. And who else would make such creative monster designs than Guillermo del Toro himself. I'm a real big fan of del Toro's work, from Pan's Labyrinth to Hellboy, even some of his lesser works. Whether Blade 2 falls into his lesser works or not, I will let you decide. Blade 1 is a dumb but fun popcorn flick while Blade 2 is a borderline horror film that I can enjoy. And, once again, just forget Blade Trinity ever happened

#4: THE PUNISHER 2004:
Most people find this a "meh" movie.. Or straight up terrible..
But I like it.. I like Thomas Jane, whatever happened to him.. He was in Punisher and The Mist.. At least only ones I seen him in.

I don't have much to actually say about it. But it's a fun movie. A little hammy, but fun. I love movies like that sometimes. Not the over the top gorefest that I heard Warzone was..

#Some more: Hobo with a Shotgun

Does this movie count as a superhero movie?... Well I'm counting it anyway, because I really love this movie. Now sure, Canada doesn't have the biggest budget films, but when they can use practical effects, they sure go all out with them. Hobo with a Shotgun follows a homeless man who comes to the town of Hope to find it ridden with crime like ruthless crime lords and pedophiles dressed as Santa Claus. So, what's a homeless man to do? Use their money from begging to buy a shotgun and use it to clean up the streets in a violent manner. This movie is dumb in all the right ways. Unlike Blade or Punisher, this movie is genuinely fun for what it shows you. And this movie pulls no punches with it's violence. Decapitations, disembowelment, a bus full of children getting lit on fire, yes really. It's just such a fun and violent movie all the way through that I actually can't help but be a part of the cult following. Sure, it's dumb, but I love it so much, and I will happily buy this movie on DVD. Because fuck, I can't find it anywhere else

#3: KCK-ASS
This movie is fondly remembered by fans. And hey.. It's still a awesome movie. It shows the grim reality of being a superhero. But in a comedic light to make the really dark contant slightly more fun. I mean Dave gets stabbed and run over, and a little girl murders a bunch of people to "happy music"

Obviously this movie is filled to grim with acton. My favorite has to be the warehouse scene with Big Daddy (Cage) killing everyone in only 2 minutes, not even. And his death is way more dignitfied than the comic. Where Big Daddy reveals he was never a cop. Never lost his wife. Just was crazy.. And than he is tortured to death, which I assume the comic shows in long detailed sequences. Never read them myself, just heard stuff..

The second isn't bad. Jim Carrey isn't at least. Despite him bitching about it the internet later, I still love Jim.. I'm sure Wind will make me regret that remark, but he can't ruin EVERYONE for me.. Well, he could. But won't let him.

What else to say?

I like the acting. And the overall concept.

Check this movie out..

#Do you get the joke yet?: Super

Well, compared to Kick-Ass, Super was advertised to be a light hearted comedy. But I assure you, this movie is not a comedy. I repeat, this movie is not a comedy. Created by James Gunn before he went to work on Guardians of the Galaxy, right before Disney fired him from ever working on Guardians of the Galaxy ever again, Super followed Frank, a loser of a man who's wife leaves him for a drug lord and resorts to fighting crime as the Crimson Bolt, using a wrench as a weapon to beat up all sorts of criminals, from child molesters to purse snatchers to people that cut in lines at the movie theater. Coming out at the same time as Kick-Ass, Super was really never talked about, which is a shame, because it is a very interesting look into what a real superhero would be like if they were a bit more unhinged than Kick-Ass' hero. Despite this moving getting wrecked by critics, fans loved this movie and it still has a decent following to this day. I think I only realized this movie was not a comedy was when we see this man just smacking people violently with the wrench for being rude, which is dickish, but not a crime. Also, Emma Stone being a comic geek and fucking a grown man in a superhero costume? Unacceptable! But no, seriously, go watch Super. It's the only superhero movie James Gunn is allowed to work on and own rights for anymore

My BETTER post for Punisher

So all the way in 2004 we had a little Thomas Jane movie the punisher.. I noticed we had it on DVD and watched it. Cause I have this punisher ring. You know what. It’s awesome. I wouldn’t call it underrated, but it’s a guilty pleasure.. whatever happened to Thomas Jane, I always liked him, every time I see him, he’s a surprising good actor, especially for B movies.. So basically Frank Castle a cop who after getting a mob kid killed has his WHOLE family killed, bit extreme if you ask me, but it’s still a legit sad sequence.. anyway with nothing to lose Frank becomes a vigilante known as (title drop) slowing hunting down the main villain.. but instead of just shooting him. It’s a little screwed up. He frames the villains best pal into seeming like having an affair with the villains wife (the friend is gay). So the villain strangles his friend (kind of a sad scene, the friend was so confused). And drops his wife onto a friggin train track.. only than does Frank go after the villain. After nearly killing him, frank reveals the friend and wife were innocent and than assumably kills him, it’s unconfirmed.. anyway.. Good movie. But only number 4, I still seen better..

#2: LOGAN:

So this was my proper introduction to Wolverine. Or X-Men as a whole. But at the same time, Logan was the one character I knew about. I knew he was a soldier, and he has claws.. But even I can say that Jackson is the perfect casting choice, as is Stewart.. Anyway, the openning scene shows excatly what were getting into. Battles that are mixed between awesome and disturbing.. Hell the whole movie is this. It's not excatly the happiest movie. But it's so fucking awesome..

I can't say much about the plot without spoilors.. But than again if you haven't seen it, than you should go watch that.. Hell, I even had to tell Wind to watch it.

WIND: I was gonna watch it anywa-

NO! DON'T TAKE THIS!!

Anyway.. Awesomeness all around. I must of watched it 100 times by now..

(Huh. Thought you would like it more than Deadpool XD)

#1: The Crow

Finally, a movie that fans and critics like that everyone talked about. The Crow is by far the darkest of the movies I've talked about on here for multiple reasons. After Eric and his fiancee are murdered by a notorious gang on Devil's Night, he returns from the dead a year later thanks to the help of a crow to seek revenge and protect the city from the gang, murdering them all for their crimes. By far one of the more darker in tone films on this list, The Crow can be a pretty depressing film throughout, but for all the right reasons. There are moments of just some of the worst things imaginable in this film, but there are those moments where there is hope. Eric is not just some brooding miserable superhero like we see in literally every comic with a dark tone ever. Though he can be, he at least has some hope for the world and doesn't let the bad cloud his judgement on the world, even if he is a violent murderer. Of course, we sadly cannot talk about The Crow without talking about the tragedy of this film, and how the lead actor of the film, Brandon Lee, was killed in an accident during the filming of this movie. Despite having most of his roles done, they had to use computer effects in order to finish off the last scenes. And I have to say, they did a pretty good job. Given the circumstances, I wished they wouldn't have to resort to it, but I can't say there was anything that could've been done. Brandon Lee's last film, and thankfully a good one. And we will always have to remember that City of Angels makes a mockery of this film

Speaking of perfect casting

#1: DEADPOOL:

Yeah, shocking right.. Only reason it's 1 is cause it's not only my intro to the character, but to Ryan Reynolds all together. Though I did see him in Green Lantern.. Which explains why I didn't like him before this.. Afterwards saw R.R. in Hitman's Bodyguard which, despite what people said, was amazing.. I love the dude now.. In Canada your either Justin Bieber or Ryan Reynolds.. Depends on your luck..

Deadpool fans enjoy that movie Pool is far more than just the joker. He's also insecure.. Deadpool fans REAL deadpool fans say the Wade is far more the forth breaking, internet meme.. He's a "sad" clown. It's all to mask his depressing.. Similar to Iron Man, or Beast Boy from Teen Titans (orginal). This is futher shown in the second.. Which by the way, is fucking beatiful..

So yeah.. Ryan finally got his dream. He always wanted to be DP. And before this, all he had was X-Men Orgins.. Which I'm sure I'll be shot for even bringing up..
