Bobby Flay Pertanyaan

Which culinary school do anda recommend for my son who wants to go for 4 years actually learning cooking exclusively. What other things can he do while in high school to better prepare him?

My son is 15 yesr old 6'2" 260 pound gentle giant. He has been dreaming of being a chef and owning a restaurant since 10 years old- he even knows the tablecloth colors! He is Dyslexic. This means his brain goes from a to c instead of a to b. The c is the creative side of our brain. He has shown a natural aclivity for food color, design, and taste. I am teaching him all I know at halaman awal but the culinary school choices are many. He is studyng this summer with a woman I know who cooks cuban and greek. He wants to be an Iron Chef and I fully endorse his aspirations!:)

I went to Le Cordon Bleu myself and of course I'd recommend it. The Culinary Institute of America is another good choice. If he really wants to be an Iron Chef, a classical culinary education will greatly benefit him. As far as still being in high school...there aren't many classes I'd say could help...other than getting good grades. Now...while he's still in school it would probably help him to get a job at a restaurant. Make sure it is in the back of the house. Even if he just starts out washing dishes. That is where Bobby Flay started and look at him now! Just make sure he is willing to work hard and be sure his superiors know of his ambition to become a cook and then a chef. Good chefs will always encourage others to greatness and will usually try to help others reach their culinary goals. Once working in a kitchen...even if it just dish washing make sure he is the first to arrive on shift and the last to leave. Have him ask line cooks to tampil him the ropes while they are doing prep. Just start out watching, be eager, ask intelligent questions, and maybe they'll let him start doing basic prep work. It is always respected when anda work your way from the bottom of the chain up. The best in the industry can and will happily do ANY job in the kitchen. ^_^ Wow..I so didn't mean to ramble there. If anda have any lebih pertanyaan please feel free to message me!
