BBC Press Release: Episode 4x10 

Alright it seems that the lancelot problem will be solved in one episode ... THAT´S GOOD! My heart could not take more...

Also that elyan has a little role in this episode gives hope for some arwen moments :)

I find it so interesting that these synopsis are flying out of the BBC office like a bat out of hell. Although, I'm not complaining. :) It's great but I wonder why they released two this week.

Oh, I know...

It was to let Arthur and Gwen lovers know, all will be well by episode 10. Wasn't that nice of them? LOL I'm glad that Elyan is going to be featured. Finally!!!

I actually think this could be very interesting but...it's being overshadowed by Episode 9...there's nothing more but episode 9...no future...just nothing XD

The dirctors did mention they will get all the knights featured in some lengthy character building roles, each in different episodes so i guess that's how it will be from episode 7 onwards.

I like that they will be shown in different episodes. I remember how Gwen described Elyan in 3 x7. That trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes. Or, something to that effect. I guess when Merlin tells him to leave it alone and he ignores it, well...trouble is as trouble does. I'm glad we get to see that part of him coming to the surface.

Yay Elyan! I do remember Ade saying in a BBC breakfast interview that Elyan is a trouble magnet!

I'm heartened to see it was written by Howard Overman. Hopefully we get some good interaction between Elyan and Gwen.

Jumping ahead I'm very curious about the synopsis for Ep 11.

Ep. 11 is the one with the princess from Pierrefonds, right? I want to know the summary for that as well.

Vegalily, yes, Episode 11 is the princess one. I saw some of her audition for the episode before they took it down. Hopefully, the summary will come out really early next week since they seem to be releasing them faster these days. :)

Why Overman? I think this episode may bode well for our Arwen. Overman always gets them, (editors and producers aside). When his scripts are pure, Arwen is genius. I also agree that it is interesting how the BBC is now releasing these like a "bat out of hell" Nothing is done in media witthout a reason. Any thoughts?

i have a wish/suspicion that arthur and gwen may get married at the end of ep 11 after the princess leaves, making way for a coronation at the end of ep 13 ....... anyway i guess we shall see. still all very exciting tho!! :o)

I also am glad that the Lance-angst is only ep 9. And hooray for Elyan! Love him!

does anybody know when the show aires? My cable is off and Im still hoping to bloody catch them and being human which I have BH's info.

I can't think past episode 9 but this sounds good. I'd like to see more of Gwen and Elyan's relationship and I off course want more Arwen.

Nessarthur, I would like that too. I think it would be a fitting end to that episode. Arthur marries his "real" princess Guinevere after the visiting one leaves.

well, at this moment, I really only focus on ep9.
But it sounds interesting. Gives me hope How wrote it..

Not to put a damper, but I don't see this as assurance that all will be well with Arwen after episode 9. There's always the chance that even though the particular situation with Lancey gets resolved in that episode, there could be lingering ramifications. It's possible Gwen leaves Arthur or they part ways somehow and in episode 10 the focus is on other things, but G/A are still not together. I don't hope that but it could be, especially since we have that princess situation in ep. 11. That princess would not be coming on the scene like that and going after Arthur like we see if he and Gwen were together. She doesn't even seem to know about Gwen. I could be wrong of course, but something's not clicking right me that all will be hunky doory.

It's for sure that Gwen is in ep. 10, but where and how remains to be seen. Hope she's not in prison. Seriously. Also there's the possibility that she's not around for her own protection. Maybe even Arthur is hiding her from Aggy or something. Could be anything.

But I do believe that by the end of ep 11 or beginning of ep. 12, all will be well with Arwen.

My heart will be broken. I don't think I can last that long. i want resolvation asap.

that arthur and gwen are breaking up and then comes the princess .....arthur and gwen see what they had with each other and then they will try it again <3

alliekaat, i'm going one step further - what if, everyone thinks arthur is going to marry the princess in ep 11 and the at the start of the wedding ... gwen comes down the aisle instead! ....... okay, think i need to calm down! LOL

Sounds like there will be some more bitter sweet ArWen moments ahead. I just can't wait. It's gonna be brilliant especially because we already know they marry in the end. I love this version. (happy tears)

HQ, you've got something there. Why wasn't Gwen with Arthur when the Princess came? Something's not quite right about that, it's niggling me. But Arwen are endgame, and it will end well!

I just want to know why the princess came in the first place. I am speculating that Uncle Agravaine has something to do with this. I suspect he will want Arthur to marry ANYBODY ELSE other than Guinevere ( much like some Merthur fans,lol)because of the influence she has over the him. Also marry a princess will give Camelot more wealth blah blah and will be an advantage for Aggy and Morgana (greed issues perhaps)when they take over?
From what I saw of the auditions with the actress she doesn't appear evil but very much into Arthur. Not sure how I feel about another woman trying to get his attention. He looked happy to see her and the crowd gasped in astonishment at her beauty when she rode up and unveiled her face. Gwen was nowhere to be seen. Agravaine had a smile on his face as well as Gwaine and the others but Merlin didn't look too happy.
I know I should just sit back and enjoy but I know it will hurt me if Arthur even considers marrying or even liking this princess after the dumping episode. As long as we see it is Gwen that he truely loves and no ambiguity, then I'll be happy.

I read something about this episode. I remember it saying something to the effect that Gwen returns and will love win.

I hope everyone realizes that you are wishing the entire series away? You all want to get to 11 that means there are only two more episodes after that? Just sayin.

Good point Stacey. It is passing by so quickly. We have to enjoy each episode. :)

Exactly Melisey, cause then it is gone til the final incarnation in late October of 2012 and that is then...all they wrote. Done. Dusted. Dead as a series.
