looking to get back into anime

I would say anda should check out vampire bund atau Fruits basket they are both on Netflix. Vampire bund doesn't focus so much on the romance element of the anime but the romance is still there.

I don't really watch a lot on hulu and I don't have netflix so I'm not sure the ones they offer but I watch most of mine on animefreak.com. They have a lot of shows for free and there isn't commercials. So i'll just daftar some shows that I like and hopefully anda can find it on you're preferred sites but if not that's a aman, brankas site.

Natsume Yuujinchou- My all-time favorit anime. The concept is amazing, the songs beautiful, high quality animation, and deep characters and plot. Everything is so well thought out about the anime. Not a romance though. It does have some action and adventure. It's both slow and fast paced. Sad and funny.

Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!- Cute romance with some humor. Very strong female character. animasi is good, story line interesting, and fun characters.

The Devil is a Part-timer!- So hilarious and it has romance, action, adventure, and supernatural powers. The jokes are so well-paced and relevant. Some of my favorit characters are in this anime. Very well animated, great music, interesting story line.

Ghost Hunt- Romance, scary, very well thought up story lines. anda won't be able to predict how things will go. Keeps anda on your toes.

Kimi ni Todoke..... And.... Say "I cinta you"
Did these two animes together because they both were such sweet romance animes. They both were cute, well-done, and won't be disappointed if you're looking for cinta stories.

Zetsuen no Tempest- If anda are looking for lebih of a complex cinta story this is for you. Great animation, well-done plot with lots of twist, and great music.

Brothers Conflict- My favorit reverse harem anime. Don't know if anda like reverse harem but this one is very well done. The story does it in a way anda won't know who she will choose and episodes mix them all in.

Rosario + Vampire(Has a lot of action and romance, can be inappropriate)
SAO(Mostly violence has a little romance twords the end)

Tokyo Ravens,Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukishi,Unbreakable Machine-Doll,Nagi no Asukara,Boku wa Minna Kawaiisou,Dog Days,My Romantic Teen Comedy.Try this first,perhaps anda will like it.
