Chapter 6
A while passed. Throughout all the scenery, and the constant chatter between Kelly and Ashley, Seth's new found friends, Seth completely ignored Kate. She walked behind, periodically looking up at Seth, hoping something would change. Nothing did. The sky began to darken. Seth stopped and sniffed the air. He trailed off to the side. Ashley and Kelly knew what he was doing. They didn't ask any questions. Kelly yawned. Ashley berkata a few words in beruang speak. Finally, Seth reached a clearing. Kate smiled and nodded at him but Seth just stared back coldly. Kate stifled a tear. Ashley found a warm area for her and her sister to sleep. Kelly lay down in a pile of leaves. Seth curled up on one side of the clearing, Kate slept at the other end. Within several moments, Kate couldn't take it. She got up and walked over to Seth. He quickly raised his head and watched as she slowly padded towards him. Seths sighed and began to get up. "Hey... Wait..." Kate said. Seth sat back down. He looked down at his paws. "Can I speak with you... Again?" Seth sighed and walked over to a quiet area. Seth sat down. Kate walked up beside him. She sat down and made sure to sit as close as she could. "Seth... I didn't mean what i berkata before... you're a great wolf... and... I'm the one that's lucky to have anda here... I would of died already... If... anda weren't here..." Kate put her paw on his. Seth's eyes lit up. Kate smiled a bit. "Sorry for making the descision without discussing with you." "No... It's fine... I got angry for nothing... And... I sort of found a way to... Er... Repay you..." Seth looked up at her. She put one paw on his chest and pushed him back. He landed on his back roughly and huffed as he hit the ground. Kate got on puncak, atas over him. Her hind legs over his, holding her over him. Seth's eyes widened. "I cinta anda too." "Wow... Not what i expected." Kate snickered. "Really? atau is this a way to make me feel better until we get to the pack..." Kate shook her head and closed her eyes half way. "So... What now?" Seth asked. Kate laughed. She slowly moved closer to him. Finally, she pressed her lips against his. Seth closed his eyes enjoying the moment. Several moments later, Kate got up. Seth's eyes were still closed. She laughed a bit. Seth opened his eyes. "I could get used to this..." Kate shook her head. "I am much lebih relieved now..." Kate berkata sighing. "Why? Was i that lovable?" Seth snickered. "Don't push it bub..." Both Seth and Kate laughed. "Now... Maybe we should go to sleep..." Seth suggested. "I just realised anda are very forgiving... If someone berkata that to me, I would never forgive them! I think that's why I chose you..." Kate said, moving her nose closer to his. Kate moved over to where Seth originally slept. She curled up and gestured for Seth to gabung her. You've done it Seth. He thought to himself. He curled up besides her. Content, loved, in love, and warm, Seth slowly fell asleep. "That's them." Liam whispered to his pack mates. "What's with the bears?" Carey whispered to her mate. Griffin licked her furry white ear. "What's with the couple..." Hunter and Miranda laughed. "Get ready to bring them back." Liam ordered. "Go."
Liam passed through many crowds. They all gaped at Liam's party of six bringing two serigala into their territory. Liam scanned through the crowds. No one he wanted to see. Finally, he found a face. One he loved. His mate, Saphire. She smiled upon seeing Liam approach her. She ran up to greet him. "Hey... Where were you..." She started. Liam put his head selanjutnya to hers and whispered in her ear. "Duty calls... Had to bring two serigala to our territory..." "I'm just glad you're safe..." Saphire drew back and kissed him before Liam turned and headed back to Ruuqo's den. "Sir. Ruuqo." "Yes Liam? I suppose anda had any luck?" "Yes. We have both serigala here. Where should I put them?" "Put them in the resting den. Forbid anyone from entering. It will now be their den. And, good job." Liam beamed with pride. Liam turned to leave. Ruqqo quickly spoke again. "And Liam, Alpha school starts within a week, since the coming of summer. I would like anda to lead it." "Really? And what of the other wolf? He's not exactly the highest ranking wolf..." "Put him through Alpha school as well. Let's see what he can do..." Liam nodded and then left.
Sun began to peek through the sarang, den illuminating the cold stone entrance of the resting den. The songs of birds filled the air. Kate woke up on a stone tempat tidur lined with angsa feathers and moss. "Ah? What?" Kate got up and stretched. She opened her eyes, jumped and fell off the bed. "AH!" Kate looked around frantically. She walked outside of the den. Birds flew in the sky, fluffy clouds drowsily floated about... She ran back into the den. "SETH!" "What?" Seth got up. He stretched his joints. "Where are we?" Seth asked sleepily. "That's what i was going to ask you-," Kate was disturbed oleh a female voice coming from the entrance. Kate whipped around. Sitting there was a pretty, grey and white she-wolf. Saphire. "Who are you?" Kate asked. "I'm your guide." She answered back. She turned to Seth. "I see anda have a friend as well?" "Yes! An what is your name?" "I'm Saphire! Now quickly, follow me! There's alot to tampil you!" "I'm not going anywhere without answers..." Kate started. "We heard anda wanted to go to the eastern serigala pack... Here anda are!" "What? Really?" Kate exclaimed. She rushed outside of the sarang, den and looked around once again. Kate gasped with excitement. "Seth!" Kate turned around but then saw Seth already walking towards the entrance. "I know Kate... I heard..." Seth sat down. "Shall we get started?" Saphire asked. "Yes... I would like that..." Kate turned to Seth and made biggest smile she could muster.
"Okay, so up there is where Ruuqo, our pack leader makes all of his announcements..." Saphire quickly jumped up to the ledge. "He puffs up his chest like this, struts meneruskan, ke depan like this, and yells, LET ALL THOSE serigala OLD ENOUGH TO CATCH THEIR OWN PREY GATHER HERE FOR A PACK MEET-," Liam came up behind her. "Hey Saph, whatcha doing?" "AH!" Saphire tumbled down. "Oh my God!" Liam exploded. Seth quickly ran underneath her and caught her. She landed in his arms like a couple would end the tango. "Saphire!" Liam jumped down the ledge. Liam cleared his throat. "Excuse me, but would anda take your arms off my mate?" Liam tried to act calm but Seth could sense he was seething. Seth laid her down. "No no no, Liam it's fine anda should be thanking him... He saved me from injury..." Saphire explained sweetly.The bulu bristling on Liam's back, immediately flattened. "Oh! Well then..." Liam put out his paw. Seth extended his too. "I'm Liam!" They both shook paws. "Seth!" "And I believe this is Kate? Of the Southern wolves?" "Mmhmm!" Kate nodded. Liam turned to Saphire. "So uh, i'll see anda around..." Liam said. He kissed her cheek and then began to walk away. "Okay..." Saphire sighed, brushing herself off. "Next, I will take anda to where the Delta's cave. All deltas sleep there. If anda weren't new here Seth, you'd be staying there. Then i will take anda to the Beta, and then the Alpha's den." Kate nodded and Seth was turned, walking backwards, as he scanned his surroundings. The three passed various dens. The rumput seemed to thin out as they approched the delta's den. The three walked in. "Hello Saphire!" Many voices came out. At least 7 serigala matierialised from the darkess. "Hello everyone!" Everyone smiled and then turned their attention to the newcomers. "Who are they?" They all asked them selves. THen one male walked up to Kate. "And who may anda be?" He asked in a seductive tone. A low grown rose in Seth's throat. Enough the make the other male jump and back up into the crowd again. "These are our newcomers. They willl be staying here frm now on! anda will have to treat them as anda would treat anyone else..." Saphire explained. There were a few grumbles, but then a particularly friendly delta female walked up. "Hey there! I'm Miranda!" Her bright yellow eyes were a contrast to her jet black fur. "I'm Seth!" berkata Seth. Kate smiled as Miranda approached her. "Hey there! An ALpha I presume?" Kate nodded. "Well I hope we can be good friends later!" Saphire laughed. "Well, it's time i showed anda some of the other dens..." Kate shrugged and padded outside of the den. Seth turned back and waved at Miranda.
