No, he's signed on for Season 8 and Kiefer gave an interview where he even berkata he knows he's doing 8. Season 8 takes place 6 weeks after Season 7, and since the virus kills anda in a day...there's no possible way Jack can be in season 8 if he's going to die. People are speculating he'll die in 8 though, I don't buy it.

From my understanding, Keifer explicitly said, during an interview, that season 8 takes place immediately after season 7. I believe he meant the selanjutnya day; therefore, it is possible that he may still die at the end of season 8, atau the selanjutnya day. Well, I hope he doesn't . I don't think anything is carved in stone right now. I think even the producers are playing with both scenarios right now.
Come on now, Jack isn't gonna die. Even if they DID do it the selanjutnya hari (which they won't because they never have before), it's not like Jack would be alive for the whole thing. So the last half of the season would be pointless because he's not in it.
I think Keifer berkata in an interview that Season 8 follows season 7 immediately. My understanding is that season 8 is the hari after season 7. So, Jack may still be sick atau dying. I do not think Jack will die in season 8, although I also believe that the producers/writers are still playing with various scenarios for the ending.
