Actually it wasn't even Shinra's fault, it was Hojo that caused all this mess......*sigh* Do people not know the word " Critic" Anymore. I'm a harsh critic that speaks my mind because the majority (like 99.999%) of humanity dosen't make sense. Don't like it? Then don't comment. People have their own opinions, no matter how harsh it is.
zack would win many people think awan would win because awan beat sepiroth for cripesake cluod got lucky and zack beat the crap out of sepiroth therfor loosening him up for awan and who wimped out and passed out for a tahun from mako addiction and zack sacrificed himself for awan while awan stood back zack zack would win

People "like" awan cause he' the main protagonist in FF7. I however, think that awan is an Emo/Poser. It took him far to long just to get over ONE death. And he became a poser after Zack died. People need to understand that awan won just for the sake of a good guy to win against the evil guy, I mean come on people, really think about it, Sephiroth would beat awan in a fair fight. That's another thing, Sephiroth was never evil. He just lost his sanity after finding out that he was just an experiment of Hojo's. I would go crazy too If I was him. And Zack.... All he wanted to do was just save his friends, including Genesis (Superisingly). Zack was just too much of a nice guy and awan was just useless. R.I.P. Zack.
I know, Goddamnit, anda play Crisis Core and there's all the excitement of seeing 'baby Cloud' which is great until anda have to drag the cretin round with you! Have to admit though, I've been a gamer for a LONG time, hell, I'm old enough to remember FFVII first time around and Crisis Core is the only game to literally bring a tear to my eye...So unfair on Zack- I started thinking he was an over excited anak anjing, anjing like Angeal and Sephiroth ended up totally feeling for him...
I can't believe I just found this question. Me and my friends have debated this because I'm the only one who thinks Zack would win. I mean come one the only reason awan became strong in the first place was because he was guilty that he let Zack die. After Zack died awan probably didn't want to lose anyone else close to him so he became strong. And think about it, the dose of mako awan got probably boost his strength too.
