What's the deal with Yomi?

I'm not sure if it's just me atau what, but Yomi seems to be completely obsessed with Kurama. Am I membaca into it too much atau does anyone else think it has to do lebih than the fact that they used to work together?

Yomi seems the curious type; I can't imagine a world in which he didn't have a hundred thousand questions.

Plus, he's on the brink of a war, and he knows how powerful Kurama is. If he didn't take out all the stops to make Kurama his ally, he'd look like an idiot.
