Chapter Fourteen:
Revenge ran through the burning building. Debris fell around him. He narrowly dodged a burning support which fell right in front of him.
"Damn it!" Revenge yelled, turning off his infrared. He pulled out his tracker an activated it. Holly's signal instantly appeared on-screen. Revenge followed it to the main dining hall.
The electrical wires in the dinding were sparking and sizzling, flying left and right. One touched Revenge and he had to adjust his suit's frequency to keep from being fried.
He saw a dash of green on the other side of the room and teleported there. holly ran flat into him.
"Do anda mind?!" she demanded, slamming down another package.
"What're anda doing?" Revenge asked, membaca the labeling.
"Blowing this place sky-high." holly replied.
"In case anda didn't notice, the place is burning."
"The facility below this building is as advanced as Cadmus'. We've got to destroy it before the Light can preform anymore experiments on anyone else."
Revenge looked at the sincerity and sorrow in Holly's eyes. He made a membagi, split detik decision and pulled something out of his utility belt. He planted it on the center console and tied an electrical cord to it.
"Thirty seconds!" he said.
holly nodded and began to run out of the building. Revenge grabbed her arm and jerked her back as a timber fell precisely where she would've been.
The doorway.
"Shit! We're trapped!"
Revenge looked around desperately. He grabbed holly and shoved her on the floor. He laid on puncak, atas of her and prayed the blast force wouldn't blow him off of her.
"Careful, darling." tarantula said. "My bite's poisonous."
Before Nightwing could respond, the kastil, castle crumbled inward. Then, all the debris flew outward as the bombs detonated.
Nightwing grabbed tarantula and tossed her to the ground, covering her body as the blast rocked the ground, pieces of kastil, castle flying everywhere.
Nightwing stood up, rubbing his head trying to clear the muddle caused oleh a piece of debris that had smacked him in the back of the head. He looked around at he ruined former school.
"Revenge!" he yelled. "Emerald!" Batgirl and the rest of the Team ran up yelling the names of the Black Hero and his partner.
A pohon limb cracked and Nightwing turned around. tarantula was hanging from a tree, her mischievous grin gone. "I don't think they could've survived that." she said.
Nightwing ignored her and ran for the castle, allowing the villainess to escape into the night.

"Sir, the cloning failed. And now the girl is fully trusted oleh the others. There is no possible way to-"
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
"Don't forget, she has begun dating the silver boy."
"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"
"Sir?"
"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
