Trilogies can be okay, but they're overdone, and authors can get really lazy in terms of pacing and such. I think a really good standalone novel is probably one of the hardest things to write.

Aside from true crime and political bios, etc everything I read is in a series typically 3+.

I'd ❤️ to make a series of my stories.

Sometimes one good book is all you need.
