I was just 5 menit on foot to my dancing class. When I left halaman awal 20 menit ago, I didn’t expect, I would be raining. But it wasn’t just raining – it was going to be a real storm. It was the middle of July and I was wearing a dress with the short sleeves. The rein was becoming heavier with each menit while I was walking down the street. Unfortunately there was no toko atau bus station close for me to hide from the storm, so when I felt my dress all wet and drops in my hair, I couldn’t do anything but stopping under the tree. The jalan, street was desert – apart from one car standing in 15 meters in front of me. I was aware of the fact, that pohon wasn’t going to help much, because the storm was going to be strong. The wind was cold and I was feeling my dress making me cold. I didn’t apparently want to catch cold, but I didn’t know what else to do. I had an idea to call a taxi and when I’ve just took my phone and started to dial the number, the car moved toward me and the driver opened the door for me.
“Hey, get in, atau anda will catch cold there” It was a guy with a sincere smile.
It was the best I could think about in the present situation. I got into the car and closed the door.
“That was the bad idea not to take umbrella with you, huh?” The guy asked me. I turned to face him. As I could see, he was quite tall, he was dark haired and he has got dark brown eyes almost black, that were looking out from under black eyebrows, that made his look thoughtful. His cheeks were flat and his mouth was not very big. The type of face, that’s not like a Hollywood star’s but the kind of face, the lebih anda watch it – the lebih anda find it interesting.
“Well, when I was leaving 20 menit ago, I couldn’t imagine such storm coming”
“Yeah, when anda live near mountains, anda can’t be sure about the weather for the selanjutnya 15 minutes”
The storm got to it’s top. The wind was blowing so strong, that it broke little branches and tore the leaves on the trees, the rain was so heavy that we barely could see something in 15 meters in front of us. The guy turned on the radio and a heater system and I felt the scent of my wet hair filling the car. I was thinking about my dancing class. I was late for 10 menit till that time and I decided to text a message to my friend, that I’m stuck because of storm. When I started, he spoke again:
“so where were anda rushing, when the rain caught you?” I sent the message.
“I was rushing to my dancing class, but now I’m afraid, that I’ll be too late and too wet to dance” I smiled. “ And what are anda doing here? Just sitting in the car to pick up the girl that is hiding from the rain?”
“Well, I try to avoid driving in a such heavy storm, cos it could be pretty dangerous if the pohon falled and crashed me, huh?”
“Yeah, you’re right. But how did anda know that the storm is coming?” I asked. It became so warm in the car, and it was so opposite to what was going out the car. It seemed like we had a little piece of world inside the car, where this angry nature couldn’t destroy the peace and heat.
“Well, I like to listen to the radio and I heard a storm warning, so I decided to find some quiet jalan, street and to wait for the storm to end. My name is Paul oleh the way.” He smiled at me. I had a feeling that I saw him somewhere before, but I couldn’t say for sure. He was staring at me and waiting for me to answer. I shook my head.
“Umm. Sorry, I just thought that I’ve saw anda somewhere before. I’m Lilian. It’s nice to meet you.”

This is written about the perfect silence only found in the dead of night, and the feelings it inspires.
The judul comes from the keterangan a friend of mine gave when we were stuck in the middle of nowhere at midnight and I found it sort of beautiful.
Enjoy (I hope) :)
Weighted air and winking stars,
darkness draped, tension wrought.
This night, this hour, is ours.
Silence chimes unspoken thoughts
that choke my mouth.
Silver moonbeams in glittering outline
surround you, and in our youth
this night, this hour, we intertwine.
I'd cinta to hear what anda like atau hate.
Thanks for reading.
