I sat confused and dazed, looking at the numbers that swam before my eyes. There was the dull humming the back of my mind that reminded me I done this essay with years and years of repitition, but there was no confidence in me that proved the evidence. I slumped back in my seat, tossing the pencil across the meja tulis, meja and closing my eyes, drifting into a light sleep.
~~~~~~~~
The forest brimmed with vibrant lights, glowing sharply beyond the bramble of branches and approaching the lake in the background. Drinks were passed around cheerfully, and the api roared with appreciative boldness. Dance musik filled the air with drama, passion, fixation upon the young adults that crowded the space. I drunkedly walked around, stumbling over roots and clutching my bir bottle with nausea. I hung onto a tree, trying to stop the spinning in my head...
"Hello there."
The voice made me look up, and the blends of emas and brown blurred with the fire, swimming in my view. I squinted, trying to lock onto the burning ungu eyes that looked over me curiously. It was obviously a boy. A boy my age. A boy that was remarkably stunning.
I tried speaking clearly, tapping my fingers over my bottle with content. "Hey. anda aren't a student, are you?"
He smiled, white teeth gleaming against the flashes of the fire. He plucked his kemeja expertly, tampilkan the small crescent with dignity, which floated in darkness. "No, sadly I am not. A friend asked me to attend, and the school accepted me because of my high grades. I'm not so thrilled that the reason they are accepting me is because of that..." He seemed to appear pitying over himself, but that must have been my over-exaggerated mind. I smiled clumsily.
"So, why did anda approach me?" I asked carefully, catching each word cautiously. I watched his smile slowly fade, twitching a bit at the edge. In the background, there were a bunch of boys that bravely held torches of api in their hands, struggling to get near the massed-demon. They threw the api in, and as if someone shot bolts of electricity into a bowl of water, the flames burst into the night with anger, flapping the boys and anyone near the api back in cowering fear. I cringed, and the bottle I held slipped from my fingers, shattering onto the ground selanjutnya to me. I turned back to the guy that was talking to me, but he was gone, his body vanished from existence. I turned back to the fire, my body Frozen in place as I watched the api expand along the logs, crawling over the scenery with rapid intensity. A warm prickling situated itself along my neck, and I turned to see him right behind me, his arm circled around the thickness of the tree, his ungu eyes flashing with glee.
"The api anda see is amazing, isn't it?" He asked, staring at the api as if it was his own precious jewel.
"No." I stated flatly, the alcohol edging from my body and freezing into consciousness, making me feel oddly nauseated. Something wasn't right about this.
I started to back away, keeping my eyes on him, but again, I failed to watch him pindah so that he was behind me, his lips pressed against my neck. There was a cool, wet liquid trail that came from his mouth, and it seeped into my skin and paralyzing me completely. The alcohol that escaped from me before teetered back in, making my head spin faster than before. My jantung was beating too fast, and before I knew it, blackness took control of me and my sweet memory of humanity...
"Chloe!"
The voice was familiar, but my mind was a little woozy at the moment. What was my dream about again? A..party? But what party?
"Chloe, get up! We are going to be late!"
I rubbed my eyes wearily, frowning. Platinum blonde hair peeked at me, hazel eyes shinning within the darkness. There was a furrow between those straight and even eyebrows. "Chloe, don't make me tell anda again. I will bite anda if anda don't get up the fourth time."
I sat myself up, stretching. "Krystal, calm yourself. Please. Not everyone is a morning bat like you."
Krystal made a high, tinkering laugh. "Oh, Chloe, and no one has sarcasm like anda do. I'm missing out Chemistry because of you."
"Chemistry?" I checked the clock, seeing that it was 4:30 in the afternoon. I yawned, shrugging my shoulders. "Hey, no one minds if I take another nap, right?" I prepared to push myself under the covers again, but Krystal grabbed my arm again and stopped me, dragging me so that I stood up.
"No, no, no. anda can't go back to sleep now. anda have to see that Mr. Renold's isn't here today."
I frowned, surprised. "He isn't? He's never absent from school. Never."
"I know. I heard something about him going on vacation for a couple of weeks. His personal gift from the Council." Krystal shrugged, then pointed to my essay that was still on the meja tulis, meja from last night. "You going to get that? anda need to get dressed too, atau something. I can't believe they yell at us for wearing slippers and pajamas. I mean, anda see humans wearing them all the time in school, and they don't get punished for it..."
As she babbled, I packed my things up, changed clothes and checked my teeth, (there are enzymes in our teeth that break down the plaque and whatnot that would create a disaster for vamps) brushed through my hair, (there were chemicals in a vampire's scalp that perfected the scent and straightness of hair, but no matter how many times I took Chemistry I never understood how that worked exactly) and prepared for a thrilling hari that would yet to come.
Never did I think that the person I was to face would be the beginning of a war I never wanted to get involved in.
I don't believe you.
I really don't
After all these years
This is what anda give me?
Why did anda break up with me?
I don't understand.
anda were so close with me
And then that tech freak came by
And anda left me.
anda abandoned me.
Why did anda dump me?
Such a close friend of mine.
Laughing with me all these years
Crying with me.
Now, anda leave me.
Why?
I don't understand anything that happened.
Why can't happy things happen
In this world?
Why do things have to be so sad?
I can't accept that it happened.
Because I am still a close friend
Of yours
But I can't accept the facts.
I just can't.
I really don't
After all these years
This is what anda give me?
When anda hope,
anda expect and wish,
anda have a feeling for wanting,
Your desires to be filled,
anda don’t want them killed,
Hope makes anda stronger,
We live to hope,
Hope is what keeps us going,
Keep it sealed,
Let it be healed,
Like it’s your shield,
Sometimes it’s your battle field,
Keep hope close to anda in life,
Sometimes anda need to rethink twice,
For hope is unstable,
It comes and goes,
Hope is a special gift,
Not everyone knows,
If they do, they don’t bother to show,
Some of us want to lose hope,
Some of us want to regain hope,
Some think it’s a useless tool,
Yet they’re the ones blind,
Who won’t come to mind?
anda and I, we all need hope,
No matter how far we seem from it,
It will find us one day,
For hope will come to us,
Wish and desire anda jantung out,
Keep in mind,
Don’t back away;
anda know what anda want,
Keep hoping till the END……
Temporary Home
For some people, this world is only a stopover. They arrive here to do some good while they can, but they know that this is still not their true home. They are malaikat who come to light up our lives with their luminescence and to teach us what they can before they have to pindah on. They flash in on golden wings, but it seems that they are gone before anda can say “Thank you” atau “I cinta you”. They leave softly, without fanfare. They ciuman our brow as lightly as a heart’s whisper, and smile, blinding us with its brightness. When we blink, they are gone.
friends Are Forever,so I thought.
All those pictures that I bought,now torn apart along with my broken heart.
I miss those hugs and laughs we use to share,because now they act like they don't care.
Now all we do is fight.
I wish God would give us some light,give me a solution to solve all this tension.
friends don't back stab you.
friends don't talk behind your back atau be pissed off at anda when they feel like it.
Nobody seems to care anymore.
Now girls are turning into whores.
All I know is that now we are all friends for never.
When we need to go back to being friends FOREVER!
