Missing.
The word was whirling around Carla’s head, making it ache, making the room spin.
“They’ll find her, I promise.”
“Really? Would anda mind using your newfound physic powers to tell me where the hell she is, then?” snapped Carla, shrugging her sister’s comforting arm from her shoulders.
Carla hadn’t meant to snap like that, but Sophie was so naïve. Maybe she believed everything the police had tried to blur the sharp corners with; their reassurances might have diberikan her peace of mind, but Carla couldn’t stop her body shaking. She was red with anger and distraught with worry. She just wanted to find her best friend. It was crystal clear that the police didn’t have a clue where Rebecca was. That much was clear since she had been reported missing three days ago.
Carla had been walking to Rebecca’s flat with Lilly to get ready for their planned night out when she’d noticed the door was ever-so-slightly ajar. In a blind panic, she’d raced up the stairs and through the front door without the smallest care for her own safety.
Carla gasped as she took in her surroundings. The flat was a state. The meja and chairs were overturned and shards of broken glass littered the floor.
“Becca,” Carla called out, dread and anxiety spreading through her body.
“Rebecca,” Lilly frowned and suddenly started looking around as if suddenly expecting her friend to appear.
“Her phone’s still here,” berkata Carla, picking up the expensive iPhone from the floor.
She surveyed its cracked screen. It was blank and clearly broken, though Carla tried to turn it on anyway.
“She never goes anywhere without her phone, I don’t understand…”
“Carla,” cried Lilly, her eyes wide and filled with horror.
She was standing on the other side of the upturned table, her gaze fixed on the floor.
Carla dashed over to her, letting out a small cry herself. She placed a hand over her mouth as she felt the bile rise in her throat, her vision blurring as her eyes filled with tears.
On the edge of the table, there were faint fingernail marks like someone had clung on for dear life. A few meters from Lilly’s feet was a pool of blood, half-dried with four streaks extending from it. Finger marks. There’d been one hell of a struggle. A struggle which had been lost.
Lucy had flown into action and phoned the police instantaneously as Carla leaned against the door frame, shocked and devastated that Rebecca was gone. The blood terrified her all the more.
Since that day, Carla couldn’t remember the last time she’d had a proper sleep when she’d not woken up screaming from the horrendous nightmares, crying and wishing that her best friend was safely snuggled up beside her so she could protect her. She’d been haunted oleh the sight of the blood that never left her head. She felt totally helpless and angry that she was unable to do anything to help return Rebecca aman, brankas and sound.
Each night, after trying to get sleep to consume her, Carla wandered the streets, wracking her brains for any inclination as to who had taken her best friend atau where she had been taken. It was better than lying powerless in her bed, aman, brankas and warm when Rebecca was out there somewhere, alone and scared and hurt.
Now, Carla was sitting in the local café with her sister because Sophie, being sensible, had declared that it wasn’t wise to go to the pub because she would just drink herself into a dark oblivion to try and forget.
“Carla, I know you’re worried…” berkata Sophie, placing her hand over her sister’s to comfort her.
“I’m absolutely petrified,” Carla whispered, unable to stop her eyes misting over once lebih “I just want her back.”
“We all do,” Sophie berkata with a sigh, taking a long drink from her mug of hot chocolate.
After three long days and nights, Carla was pretty sure she knew who was responsible. Scott Johnston – Rebecca’s ex-boyfriend. He was the one who’d hurt her best friend in the worst way possible and left Rebecca to pick up the fragments of her life while he lied to the courts and got let off with the awful crime with not so much as a caution atau a restraining order. He was the possessive lover who wanted her to be his and only his. He couldn’t stand their break-up, couldn’t cope with being rejected. All the signs pointed to him as being responsible in some way. His car was gone. His house was empty.
“They’re not at the house and their passports are still here, so where could he have taken her?” pondered Sophie.
Carla stood up suddenly, her eyes dark and determined as she thought of all the twisted things Scott was capable of. The thoughts made her blood run cold.
“I don’t know. But I’m going to find her,” she vowed “And I’m going to make that monster pay for everything he’s done to her.”

Rebecca woke up to near darkness. As she slowly opened her eyes, nothing seemed familiar. Her body felt heavy and groaned in protest as she tried to turn onto her side.
Once she had successfully completed the manoeuvre, she screwed up her eyes and scanned her surroundings, unable to pindah her head due to a severe stinging pain.
It appeared that she was in some sort of underground room. Aside from the tempat tidur she lay on, there was some sort of wooden chest in the corner and two doors; one of which had a steep flight of rickety steps leading up to it.
Rebecca sunk back onto the hard mattress. She closed her eyes in an attempt to stop the dizziness which was threatening to overwhelm her. The motion helped for a bit, but as soon as she gained some relief, a pounding started in her head like someone was banging a drum and there was a sudden throbbing pain in her wrist. She opened her eyes again, feeling vulnerable with the blindness.
Rebecca stared blankly at the chest, wondering what it contained but not have the strength atau the willpower to investigate. Every time she tried to recall what had happened and how she had ended up here, she felt like there was a brick dinding preventing her from doing so. It frustrated her to no end. She hated not knowing. She hated it lebih than anything.

On a road
Gone so far
Nowhere to go
You've hurt so bad
Wishing it to end
Don't hold back
Just trust me

And choose your path

Just hold on tight
You've got to choose
It's whats right

Take a step
It will not hurt
Your at a crossroad

How it is ment to be
Hold your breath
And take that step

And soon you'll be filled with love

Class ended. As I walked out of the classroom, I still felt sick. I went to my locker and put my stuff away. As I turned around, two tall 11th graders stood in front of me. One of them berkata "Let's play a game! Its called 'Bully The New Girl'!" My jantung trembled with fear. My hands glowed a little black. I quietly berkata "Go away. anda do not want me to hurt you." I guess one heard me, he berkata "Ohh! Im so scared! Heh, now, no lebih stalling!" Just he was about to meninju, pukulan me, Bruno grabbed his hand. And berkata fiercely " Do not hurt her. atau I will hurt you!" Bruno squeezed his hand. The boy screamed loudly. Everyone looked at him. And the two boys ran away with fear. I berkata " Bruno! How did anda do that?" The voice screamed in my head, "He's the one, he's the helper" and he replied "Uhhhhh. I know karate?" I laughed nicely. He smiled warmly. Then berkata "Ugh, I think I'm gonna puke!" He took me to the girl's bathroom and ran upstairs to get back to class.
The words made my breath fall short in my throat, a small whimpering sound went up through my chest. I slowly rose my watch, exactly the time I was to be doomed. The part of the dinding carrying the dread words burst open and rats started to crawl in, immediatly gnawing at my flesh, I tried to back away, but the part i had opened up suddenly closes and i was trapped in darkness, I was trapped, I was trapped with no hope off escape and a thousand beady eyes crawling all over my body, wrigglin down my chest and making their way towards my heart. I spun and rolled around as much as I could in the small space, but the rats were persistent, and my blood trickeld all around me, forming in a pool under me. After a while a finally gave up. For all I had done i was payed with my own dead, locked in a narrow passage with rats all around me, the last living things i would ever interact with. I began to sob softly and my final breath flew from my body, I was a limp, lifeless corpse.....

A place I once trusted
A place I once believed in
A place I once loved
A place I once missed
Is coved under a masquerade
Of misery and pain
The blue in the sky is now a shade
I feel like all this time was a game
A game of sham
A game of backstabbing
A game of war
A game of fate
I feel trapped in a box
Crammed in and lonely
With nothing but locks
With no key so that it can hold me
A box of lies
A box of fear
A box of loneliness
A box of weakness
I always have a word on mind
Just a few words long
To me it seems so thoughtful and kind
To me free it isn't a dance atau song
Free as the wind
Free as a bird
Free as an malaikat
Free as a shooting bintang
The feeling will come to me
But not right now
I hope my soul can soon be free
So then I can take my final bow
