How did team X really assemble?

if anda are talking about the X-men it is just as simple as Xavier and his former partner Eric Lyncher assembled them but. the team anda have pictured Weapon X is very complex.
It started out with Weapon plus which most every one knows was the captain america project that transformed Steve Rodgers into Captain America the hero of WWII.
Which it then lead to various sub projects. During the cold war Weapon X came into working.
They recruited most of the team and thats about as much as i can remeber.
Which in a much later issue Wolverine went to one of the old facilities and discovered a lot of his memories were staged. His memory wasn't just erased theres a lot of false ones as well, but i haven't read that much lebih of that except there was these robots that were designed to kill the members of the project Wolverine Sabretooth and the rest of the team was on the list.
