To me, they're two separate adventures. However, I'll never be able to read L. Frank Baum the same again.

I think that Wicked was the best book ever...but... the movie is always going to be number one.

Somewhere in between for me, but it really will be hard not to think of Wicked when watching the movie. Dorothy was really just a pawn in the game, she was innocent!

No...I can't. Like when the Scarecrow comes on, I scream 'YERO!'. And the Elphie/Glinda interaction means a lot more to me.

Now I'll cry whenever the Wicked Witch melts and scream "ELPHIE!" at the screen. :-P

And anything with Elphie in it will mean a lot more to me.

i will TOTALLY look at it differently. iv always hated dorthy and now i hate the tin man. i also dont like the scarcrow (fiyero) for kinda liking dorthy. i think she is annoying (dorthy)

Everytime I watch the movie, I can't help thinking about Wicked. It's not her fault for the most part she's seen as evil...and when he scarecrow comes on, I'm like, "It's Fiyero!" and my parents and siblings look at me weird lol

its weird but i feel like i knew she was not as bad as everyone thought. when all my friends wanted to be glinda i wanted to be the wicked witch of the west.

WOW angelwarren that is exactly how I felt before I saw Wicked. Now it make sense to be because I am SO Elphaba. We are like so alike. It's so funny. I thought I was the only person who thought like that.

I've never been very fond of The Wizard Of Oz even though Judy Garland who would have to be 1 of my favourite singers of all time was the leading lady. But I prefered Wicked All The Way!!!
