Even though it wasn't long ago since I last watched this movie, I don't really feel like I know very much about Charming's personality, and am much better acquainted with Cinderella's. Maybe Charming is better defined in the sequels, which I've not seen? But from what I do know of both characters, I think basing their child's personality on Cinderella's would be more interesting.
